okay first of all welt killing himekos dad was not because of the result of him looking for the sky people, it was a completely different reason that i would not spoil for anyone (so people read alien space for the context of why welt had to kill himekos dad)

@@kaitoryujin8266 No, I think you saw it in a non-canon comic where Himeko's dad tries to kill her after being contaminated by the Honkai, but Hoyoverse confirmed this version is not canon. The canon version is the one from the Alien Space comic where Himeko's dad died in space killed by Welt. He was also sick because of the Honkai, but only his body was affected. In the canon version, Himeko's dad wanted humanity to escape earth and the Honkai, thinking there was no use fighting something so dangerous if they could go and find somewhere else to live, and even had to be away from his dying wife to pursue his searches. Unfortunately, he lost his funds for his researches, and was forced to work for Otto Apocalypse and Schiksal on a Divine Key (ence why he was in contact with the Honkai energy and got sick). During this time, he still didn't change his mind about his project, and met an alien named Pepper-Mint from the Sugar specie, a civilization travelling space to espace Sky People, and used the menace of Sky People on earth to find a way to get more powers and find a way to get through his spaceship project. He did turn bad, but it was only because he was obsessed with his project and valued it more than human lives. Eventually, he was even to a point he didn't care anymore about Himeko who was at this time bed-ridden from a deadly disease, and used a travel in space "to save her" to trap Welt (his daughter's favorite teacher) in order to steal his powers. Himeko's dad killed Pepper-Mint to be powerful enough to attack Welt, theatened the other Sugars and stole their secret weapon, and Welt had no choice but to use the 9th Divine Key to kill him. When he got back on earth and Himeko was well again, Welt lied to her about her dad's death because he couldn't bear to tell her the truth... And it ended up leading Himeko to Schiksal, where her dad worked, where she found her death some short years later, without her ever knowing the truth =)))) When Welt discovered years later the Sky People were after an Himeko from another world, it's mostly guilt that must have led him to follow Void Archives to at least save this Himeko. This story is still so sad, urgh

Just to add to the weight, during his status as an active Herrscher of Reason he can't get a good sleep because of the hundred others former Herrscher concsiousness is in that core that keeping him awake, he probably realized the people before him probably went through the same ordeal and yet still have the sharp mind, iron will, determination, and resolve to protect, especially his mentor and father figure, Joyce. Only the core of reason does this, the other Herrschers core doesn't do that, there's probably an explanation but my lore knowledge is waning.

The reason is that the core contained the soul of 300000 people that died during its awakening. This is a unique property of the core of reason since it can store consciousness. It's also the reason why all Herrscher of reason can resist the will of Honkai's control, they quite literally have the will of humanity within them. But it's also a terrible weight on your consciousness hearing the agony of 300,000 people every moments of your life. It's what Welt means by the weight of his power, as he carries the weight of the world on his shoulder

Yeah he activated his core to protect the NYC from Otto’s Honkai defusing nukes. He then passed the herscher core Jochiam, who became Welt Yang.

Nah that not what make him die silly boy First Otto used Black Abyss and stab him Second Otto use Key of Binding try to kill Joachim first but Welt guard him by using his own body to protect Joachim Then he loses blood and dies.

Same, honkai manga is mostly so darn great, SE and AS were my favourites too. I wanted welt so badly and got yanqing, seele and clara instead, I'm not complaining but damn I am disappointed. an old badass dude who can create black holes and various weapons out of thin air because of the HOR power and transferred himself into another universe, that is quite the lore lmao, makes me love his character even more.

The first one would be Welt Joyce, Welt Yang's predecessor, and the second one would be one of the clones of the original Joyce that was adopted by Welt Yang and Tesla and they named him Joffrey Joyce Yang. Story about Welt Joyce was told in the "Anti-Entropy" visual novel, there are no official English translations, but you can find fans who made fan TL on the internet. Joffrey first appeared in APHO (A Post Honkai Odyssey), a spin-off story of the main Honkai Impact 3rd that you can play there which takes place 8 years after the end of Part 1 of the main story.

Even Welt's current body is weaker than the original, his power to reconstruct his own body alone is OP, but there're more many OP characters in honkai impact. Especially, those who called 13th Flame Chasers.

Herrschers as far as I remember, even the weakest to take out a whole city with easily? Welt who was already injured or sick went with Kiana's dad to "fight" sirin. Welt is incredibly powerful not because of core but because of his intelligence as well. Man was capable of beating a Sirin who had 4 cores

what? There's no will of Honkai in HI3rd, the"will" was prometheous trying to make the Honkai replicate the previous era herrserchs and other actions. Honkai in HI3rd and HG2nd (or GGZ) are not the same. HoR is in no way the strongest, in all Honkai the strongest is Kiana Herrserch of Finality, with autority over time and other universal laws, stronger than Aeons. Divine Keys are made of inactive Herrserch Cores of killed Herrserchs of the previous era made by Fire Month under Dr, Mei's supervision. Nothing to do with that Genshin chess piece.

The core of reason likely disappeared with all of the other ones that were on earth by the time we get to APHO, but even if the cores disappeared, mei, welt, and bronya all have remnant power of their cores left on their bodies

Treat it as the core of reason is still inside Bronya's body since she managed to fully awakened it, and Welt have the gem.

The Himeko Welt was looking for is the one in the records on the ship, which is the same Himeko from Star Rail who saved him. If you look closely in the image at the left, you can see that their appearance looks 100% exactly the same. The reason that Welt went looking for this Himeko was because the spaceship he snuck onto belonged to an alien race called the Sky People which will destroy any planet they find including the one that belongs to Himeko from Star Rail. The Himeko from Welt’s universe (HI3) is already dead. Essentially, Welt wanted to save this Himeko even though she doesn’t belong to his universe because he regrets indirectly causing HI3 Himeko’s death by killing her father for wanting to force humanity to “ascend” as a species by moving off of Earth and not telling her the truth about it. This caused HI3 Himeko to abandon her dream of exploring the stars and become a Valkyrie in hopes of finding out what happened to her father, where she would eventually sacrifice herself during the game. The Himeko from Star Rail now fulfils the dream that HI3 Himeko originally wanted to achieve while Welt accompanies her and the rest of the crew.

Mistakes were made

March 7th also said that she was saved by 3 persons, but she only remember welt and himeko
