I'm an Aussie so of course I'm cheering for the Wallabies. But man! I love watching the All Blacks play. Best in world. Skill is off the charts. A pleasure to watch.
I enjoyed the era when the Ella brothers played for the Wallabies. They were a great side back then. Of course, they have had winning sides following but I liked the Ella era more. AB fan.
Yeah mate, they changed rugby. I remember watching the Wallabies against Wales in the early 80s, and was amazed by the pace they brought and the size of their backs. I think the world would welcome a resurgence in Australian rugby. Scotland fan (who grew up in a part of Scotland called England, West Country, the only part of England where rugby is not a posh boys' sport)
@@douglaswright2143 I like that, "the only part of England where rugby isn't a posh sport". I just cannot, for the love of God, welcome a reimergence of any Wallabies side. Sorry. mate.
Greatest backline ever! Ella, Hawker, O'Connor, Martin, Moon and Gould. That AB forward pack dominated the Wallabies by about 65% of the ball - one of the greatest forward packs ever but that backline was to slick! Eric Watson had the AB backline passing a brick for passing training before the 2nd test - what a joke! Could not believe Watson over-looked Bruce Robertson for Tim Twigden at centre who played on the wing for Auckland then flew Robertson over for the 2nd test at Ballymore!! Mind you the ABs had missing in the backline Bill Osbourne, Bruce Robertson (for the 1st test), I think Stu WIlson, Bernie Fraser and maybe Doug Rollerson!
Daaamn! I really hope the boys get it together cos our second half rotation is full of class players & we messed it up big time in the last 10mins!! World class rugby, that is not acceptable 😂🔥💯 straight up!!! Don't play around this weekend All Blacks, we expect a solid thrashing 💪🔥
It was a brilliant move, the kind of move when you want a French ref who weighs up whether they had an advantage from the forward pass, and decides they didn't. Lets face it, what is considered the greatest try of all time included at least one forward pass (Barbarians v ABs)
Please, please, please, let's have refs who apply the spirit of the laws and have responsibility for the spirit rather than the letter of the law, because otherwise we have indecent human beings who drive a tank through through loopholes and we end up with the Lions series v SA.
The full tragedy is that the forward pass was slight enough that most of us didn't see the ball go forward when it happened, but it was so clear on TMO that we have also been robbed of the right to whinge about a bad call hahaha.
@@alexlaws1530 Yeah, it was forward, but nothing like as forward as France v NZ. I'd like to ditch TMO, accept mistakes, and if they are close, veer towards the defensive team, and get back to respect for referees as the only arbiters of fact. It won't happen, but it should! Anyway, loads of respect to true rugby fans like you!
@@alexlaws1530 I'm assuming you are a Kiwi, I'm a Scot who was unfortunate enough to grow up in England. The Scots have modelled their game on NZ since the mid 80s. Unfortunately our islanders are not as powerful as yours! I would lie to think there is a Scottish influence within NZ rugby, but I may be overplaying our influence. The bottom line is that NZ are head and shoulders above the rest of the world, have strong values and represent everything that is good in the game. I hope your glory continues for many years, because it only makes you more humble.
If the line out rules in Wikipedia are still current then I think the Kelloway try is a no try because Hunter who got the ball from the hooker throwing into a line out was well inside the 10.
Can we just have one decent kicker? Every NRL team has someone who can kick the ball between the posts reliably and we can’t seem to find one?! Kicking is even more important in union!
Far from a polished dominant performance in my eyes. Aus should have won but their 10 threw away 15 points. You just can't do that against the All Blacks. I know a win is a win but lets be honest it could have been different if all the point available were taken. None the less I'm glad Aus put up a fight.
Earlier tests vs the islands was a running warm up. As far as I’m concerned this was the first test of the season for the ABs which are always a scrappy event. ABs will only improve.
The state of editing on rugby videos is in a bad place. People want to see more than one/two phases at a time and there's not really a need to show replays of kicks going over unless there's controversy. It's not going to affect the number of people paying to watch games live by putting out highlights of a better quality than this.
