Georgia's defence is insane! Especially taking into consideration that they are playing Australia. Well done Georgia. Come back to every game after this with a defence as solid as this and work on your attack - the world will soon know you well. Trust me!
The rain made us play right into Georgias strength. Gerogia played extremely well but if it was a dry game I dont think the score would be anything like what it was.
@The Meek Let's begin with a score 45:10, Fiji won, after that let me remind you that Fiji lost with Uruguay and Georgia smashed Uruguay......what's your point?
@@nickford2350 The Wallabies have been standing on the shoulders of greats like those for about 15 years. It used to be a big event when the Wallabies were playing, almost like the State of Origin, where you would feel a need to make time to watch it. They are just boring to watch now.
By points Australia won, but georgia have played very well. I think when tier 2 team plays like this it is already victory. But game with fiji were worst game for last 10 years. Congratulations to our boys and Australians from georgia 🇬🇪 🇬🇪
Hard luck Georgia! Awesome effort. First try was short, awarded anyway, Koroibete's try only turning point and that was from scrappy ball otherwise result may have been different. Aussies need to wake up if they gonna complete in quarters, 2nd team or not.
Pathetic attempt from aussie really, took them a full 20 minutes to get any points on the board. Solid effort from georgia, wouldve been nice to see them win this one.
Surprising to see no comment re K. Beale's early exit. Live transmission replay showed him pinned beneath ruck, then subjected to reckless, late, sliding "tackle" knee first, directly to his head. Clearly a red card action. Ref must surely have been unsighted, but this was really dangerous, should have been picked up by the TMO & needs to be investigated. Otherwise, Georgia played & defended really well. Australia had a pretty forgettable game, as did the ref.
It seems the ref simply ignored the concept of offside on the Georgian side. They were standing halfway up the ruck. No wonder the Aussies had trouble.
lmao I come mostly to see all the salty comments about Australia, outside of kiwi's talking smack we seem to be hated by a lot of people 🤣👍 Anyway gg Georgia!
Impressive defence and stamina by Georgia! Though Australia is a far better side, they weren't allowed to show that big a difference in that game in spite of their general dominance... If not for so much giving posession by Georgia and for that second beautiful try by Koroibete, things would be more distressing for the Aussies. And, friends of Rugby, do check the first Australia try, for I think that the ball wasn't touching the line and that White was not handling the ball to the line but double moving and dragging it on the ground. Difficult to conclude but more difficult to reward that as a try!... Anyway, the Quarter Final against England will be very entertaining!
@@lkvideos7181 Honestly it is a bit of both. Ive been watching Georgia since they turned up at our home world cup in 2003. There was this unknown eastern european side that I'd never heard of turn up and made the springboks work for every point. World cups came and went, and they kept turning up. Some massive loose forward called Godzilla started taking the field for then. Georgian fans turned up on rugby forums posting in broken English, and it turns out the RWC has basically gotten the game to the point where its the major sport there. I mean, they almost beat Ireland. Over the same time, Ive watched the wallabies sink , and sink, and sink. As they rise we fall- and this game proved it.
First and third try should not have been counted for Australia. I bet if Georgia had made that kind of try referee would watch the replay 5 times and not count it as try. First didnt reach the line, 3rd was double grounding and did not reach.
Very pathetic at the start for Australia nick white had to give it to the backs, but just wouldn’t do that so that just caused a penalty to Georgia, even though Australia won I was still pretty angry how we should’ve destroyed em but only just managed to get a win against Georgia...
I’m new to this and don’t understand why there is so much hate towards Australia in these comments here. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ This was the first match with them for Georgia and I must say Aussies played fair (except few high tackles), with respect and with heart. They are really good - they even won in scrum against Georgia (not a small feat) and in all other set pieces like line outs, etc. Georgia was just super, super motivated in defence playing amazingly and selflessly closing spaces and making 200+ tackles! As soon as this out of the world defensive pressure relaxed just a little bit in the last 10-15 minutes of the game, Aussies showed their running and ball handling skills scoring three tries in a row! Good for them and thanks to Georgian Lelos for selfless effort! P.S. The ref still was subpar! Few major blunders in favour of more prominent team, as usual. The first try wasn’t really a try. Half of the penalties were bogus ones... No yellows for multiple high tackles... One yellow when it could have been red... Oh well...
That third try was a bit suspect... Even the commentators don't sound sure and the try scorer was shaking his head. Maybe the ref just wanted to escape the rain? 😂 Absolutely well played on Georgia's part though

I also agree that the first TRY was sort off line... Australia was favored today... of course Australia was better team as more experienced and certainly deserved the win!
@@dancepro67 They were better than the current squad, but the All blacks has always won the bledisloe more often than not. Eden park has not been beaten since 1987. So yea I rest my case. Plus that loser who says they are better in Rugby league. This guy tries to change the subject. haha. Nz doesn't play League in general. So i would hope Aus is better at it. Warriors are only there for the money.
Pleasant!😄💛💕Australia,Thank you for your hard work! I'm looking forward to your good fight to the last game, Final, Semifinal. ああ面白いわあ。。。オーストラリア代表って聞いただけで笑ってまうw それでいてさり気なく強いから 魅力感じてしまうわ、オーストラリア人全体に対して。松島こうたろうみたいな選手も居るし!
It is our 7th biggest sport though, not bad considering,Australian Rules Football and Rugby League rule the roost here,I’m amazed we reached the finals with the ever shrinking talent pool.
@@Jellybeantiger Well a big Nation like your's certainly needs MORE sports to play and be part off.. And off course the BC masters are next inline to Challenge so that be very interesting to see.. We got this mybro
