Isn't it absolutely maddening that Ireland, France, South Africa and New Zealand will have to eliminate each other at the world cup? By a country mile the top 4 in the world, the gap seems to be growing with the rest.
I love the fact that our team does not rely on one kicker...everyone from 9-15 can kick for the posts. i cant wait to see Kolbe doing his tricks at flyhalf position one day 😉
South Africa should've scored more. I loved the way the South African front rowers especially the front 3 stepped up. Size matters and forwards decide games. Well done Boks👍
The biggest issue they have is their consistency. They are dominating games and winning or losing by 1-4 points. They are also guilty on occasion of handing the opposition 15-20 point leads before deciding to play.
Vinz : merci.
The Springboks don't mind losing against the All Blacks, or French, or any other team, but they never lose against the English for what the British did during the Boer War. Playback time.
@@markbrown-sb2zm 3 is clearly pushing inwards before the ball is even in...you can see it clear as day on the view from above...you guys know scrum penalties aren't just awarded to the team that pushes de hardest, there's rules to this..
Ellos tienen su mérito, pero los Ingleses parecen estar en medio a fuego cruzado en estos últimos partidos. Apesar de la roja a Sudáfrica, se ve que los ingleses siempre juegan sucio, perdiendo o ganando. Siempre sucios.
Listen closely as Eben is getting out of the ruck at 6:18 he leaves a South African like remake to the Englishmen that was picked up in the refs mike 🤣🤣
Rugby is a weird game. In most other sports 'fouls' are usually very exceptional and much more easily avoided by players. In rugby, penalties are an intrinsic part of the game. Whole constructs exist to create 'balance' and dissuade against foul play, eg penalties, and even minor infractions result in scrums and lineouts.
so after 10 months we can watch 10 minutes of the game instead of 4 minutes wow so generous, pro sports is b,s boxing etc y'all getting paid too much poor people cant watch sports anymore they can just cluck off right wow so much love
Farrell should have hit his first and third attempts at goal with his shoulder. Joke aside, England played another poor game but this time they didn't have Smith to raise them from the dead as he did last week.
I LOVE THE SPRINGBOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
England usually lack focus & hunger these days compared to most opposition - good players but no collective identity - how far they've fallen since 2019.
Heaviest player in the Bokke squad. 130kg....heavier than Malherbe ! For that matter, Peter Steph du Toit is actually heavier than Etzebeth by one or two kilos... Those Bokke are really huge Ôo
Of the top 5 teams at the RWC, which ever of them that make it to the semi finals, can put the "B" side on against the second steam team they meet. WR messed up big time here.
Not really an excuse, both teams just kicked for 30 mins.. They weren't fatique, the Boks have the wood on them up front. That laid the foundation for this win and the 2019 final.. You think 2 highly of England.. From a Bok fan... Ps, doesn't mean they aren't good enough to beat us next time out. The score starts at 0-0 every time.. It took a Barrett yellow card for England to get back into the game.. That just proves maybe England isn't as good at the moment.. They have the players, but not the cohesion...
@@sancojoseph4939 correction: they don´t have the players. They have a lot of players, but they all play in the Premiership, which is a dour, traditional and low-IQ rugby environment, dominated by set-piece play and foreign playing talent. They´ve benefitted from a lot of good coaching input from abroad in the years since the game went pro, and abused their position of influence within World Rugby to bend the rulebook in favor of their style of football, but the reality is they´ve had to do this because the humiliating pool defeats of 2015 were not just historically embarrassing for a previous World Cup winning nation, but an wholly accurate reflection of their level in the sport.
@Formakiwi Just looking at their playmakers ,Marcus Smith ,George Ford and Farrell are as good as anyone .I don't know a fullback that's better thn Steward in the air .If they sort out their setpiece, they'll be top 3 in the World again ..I can't really comment on what goes on in World Rugby's board rooms ..But I disagree, they have the players .Ollie Lawrence for example, is a freak, but doesn't even make the squad. England plays 2 conservatively .They can learn from Ireland..You can be creative, without being reckless
England won't win against the Boks!! Never!! The universe know what England has done during the second boer war killing 21000 women and children in concentration camps and raping many of them....until England doesn't justify that issue they'll keep losing against the Boks 👍
England beat New Zealand England destroys Australia South Africa beat England but struggles to beat NZ and AUS. Where do we need to improve, do we need change our style when we encounter these 2?
@@Hieronymus976 The fact is that we don't have full confidence that we can beat these 2 nations. We are supposed to be number one in the world now. if you do play or you've played rugby you will understand where i'm coming from. there is something that we need to change when we play against NZ and AUS. One thing that I know about NZ is that their defence is not solid and England knows how to capitilise on that. they know how to keep the ball possession and punch those wholes in their defence line, and that is something SA is lacking. We play this kicking game and you and I both know how dangerous NZ and AUS is with a ball in their hands. Let us learn something from the English side.
@@akhonabukula7622 Oh I agree with you. Ideally we'd be able to beat Australia and New Zealand consistently, but the reality is both countries play a brand of rugby that is highly unpredictable and expansive - a style that has always been our Achilles heel. Australia almost beat France and Ireland in the same Autumn Nations, so it's not just us that can struggle against them. I don't think that's an indictment on us, more a testament to them and what they can do. But by that same token, our style (when done right) can completely suffocate attacking teams and stop them from scoring.
England got gifted a draw in their game against the ABs. Very very poor second half from NZ. England play a different style to Southern Hemisphere teams. South African games against NZ and Aus will always be a struggle and a great game of running rugby to watch.
Thank God England lost that match ..South Africa was out played ,,Not sure how they dug it out ,But they did ,England were all over them ,,,,South Africa were LEGGY and were tired ..and out thought ,,, As a Welsh fan S.A have a lot od work to do ...I think a total rest period and serious technical reboot is in order ,
Looked at it again and again, still feel that the SA player was impeding the English chaser, shrewd play by the SA's they got away with it. It was not a bad kick and the chase was good.
Yeah and especially when the two tries were arguably not tries. Maybe obstruction in the build up to the first (not clear and obvious so wouldn't over rule). But after a knock on Eben is in a clear offside position, picks up the ball from a grounded position and scores a try. That was absolutely not a try under any circumstances.
@@mykeday First one was definitely a try no doubt. Second one, I agree was a sketchy call. I don’t think Faf knocked it on though - looks like it spat out backwards and to the side (flat) to me.
@@HangingDong definitely? Wouldn't say it was, there were some flat passes as well as the obstruction. However there was no compelling evidence to over turn it. To disallow it would have been incredibly harsh. But absolutely the 2nd in understand the ref was at the wrong angle to see exactly. But seriously why didn't the tmo speak up. The boks were very quick to take the conversion, they knew it was no try.
So how is it that du toits tackle is a red card, despite him taking the blow to his cheek. But Sexton tackle last weekend was deemed ok ? How is this not a double standard.
It´s totally a double-standard. See also: Andrew Porter vs Brodie Retallick (particularly egregious in light of the red card applied to Angus Taávao the previous week for an identical offence).
@@Formakiwi Porter just absorbed the hit, the kiwi lead with his head with force. Sexton literally just tries to set up a maul each tackle, nothing malicious
