I'm New Zealand Maori but I have have Irish blood in me from the early settlers in New Zealand I love watching the Irish do well but gotta support my All Blacks.. Good job lads on to the next one.
Hmmm, a Maori with Irish blood, that is an insult that is. You should not be giving any hope to the Irish if you are a real Kiwi, you should despise them. You know that. I bet you do not mention you have Irish blood in a Maori bar, do ya, lol. Not a good idea really.
Should be an intense game on October 20 alright. Ireland will have the pressure and weight of history against them, never having been past a 1/4 final in the world cup but Joe Schmidt is a clever coach and will have a plan for the Boks' style of game. If Ireland will have their first choice 15 available to play they have a good chance.
Hi there, the Scottish everyone.(^O^)/ Oct 13, '19 in Yokohama-city, Kanagawa-prefecture, "Japan vs Scotland match" will be played, many Japanese team supporters will welcome the Scotland team & fans with the performance of "Scotland the Brave", and respect. Let's have a good game together. Thanks. God bless every the Scottish & your family. 👍
Hey guys, when Scotland will become the world champions it is sure that I will dead so please when Scotland become the champions tell me in my grave ok. I will be thankful to the one who will do it.
As usual my team Scotland looked like they were out for the now familiar sunday morning stroll and yawn session looking for the morning newspaper. Too many lazy players and some who believe their own hype. forwards milling around always out of position, any committed position. This side needs a rocket up them devoid most devoid of any situational awareness. Who leads this team on the pitch?
A fair bit of Scottish Hubris during the week but they were pulverised. Since Schmidt has been coaching Scotland have only won 1 of 8 times against Ireland so not a surprising result.
The way you gob it tatty, honestly it is as if you have knocked NZ out or something, lol. You are overrated and this is going to be shown to you later on in the tournament :).
@@KiwiGraggle Scotland, unfortunately for them are rubbish so I wasn't saying that it was a big deal. The Scotland camp were going on about how in-form they were last week whilst Ireland just kept a low profile and their head down. I didn't mention NZ. NZ are good but not unbeatable. Nobody is this tournament this time. NZ favourites, then Eng then the Boks probably. Ireland look like they are coming into form though and the game vs the Boks will be a good one.
@Paul Simon McCarthy I remember the 90's when we had a dire record against Scotland. We might beat Wales or England the odd time but always lose to Scotland as Ireland were so bad. Pretty much a direct swap of circumstances now.
@@KiwiGraggle Ireland "overrated"??? that overrated team BEAT your precious ABs 2 out the last 3 tests......and ended their unbeaten record streak.....they also beat the other 2 SH super powers - AUS + SA all in the same calendar year (6 months) to be specific........."overrated" indeed!
I swear there isn't a professional rugby union player that knows what the rules are around the ruck. I don't have a clue. There seems to be so many penalties in rugby where the player looks genuinely confused as to why they have been penalised.
@@NathanMcClintock Unfortunately, there are people all over the world who think it's flat. But why would Irish believe there are no oceans? They're ON one.
Ireland’s hardest task this match was overcoming Wayne Barnes’ decisions once again. The worst referee at this World Cup and has been consistently bad for years now. He is miles away from Owens, in terms of knowledge and respect from players
I've watched him since he first came of the scene, he's actually come on a very long way (in Munster we've had some serious grudges against the guy down through the years for his ridiculous calls, nitpicking and constantly interrupting of the flow, a lot of which he's dropped, for the most part)...still miles away from Barnes, but I rate him above ALL French refs for starters.
Any irish fans scrolling becareful there is one troll called gaggle55 and I think its Rachel after making a new account 😂😂 if you've been on the Irish rugby channel you now who @rachelsaysirelandwontleavethepool is
You realise theres a difference between world rankings and who are favourites, right? The ranks are pretty simple, if you consistently win against top tier nations you can reach number 1. I believe we only hit number one when we beat the Welsh in our last warm up match.
They didn't get a chance to show it in this match but they can play a nice, hard running expansive game, given the opportunity. You might get a chance to see it against the japanese since they're like to want a pacey game. Also, their lineout is pretty handy.
there was only 1 world cup where the no1 didnt win it - 2007 - SA were not ranked no 1 and they won the tournament - otherwise the no1 always won the wc
I know it's a common sense to not say anything bad against irish rugby and i do love this team even as a non irishman but 80 minutes of big guys going in and in and in again.. It's just so boring and horrible to watch i can't
@@qzrnuiqntp maybe for 25 mins but they gave away a 17 point lead on there way to conceding 20+. It's exciting to watch but defensively both France and Argentina need to do a lot of work.
seconds try was not grounded , needs downward pressure from the player holding the ball, he does not, there is another arm creeping over the head but the ball had already been touched down by a Scot by then
@@bosstrading928 are you suggesting that Barnes had a better view....I would question that anyone could have spotted that in the moment, but if you are saying its easier for me because I have a TV.....wonder what the TMO uses maybe a phone screen....
Nah the grounding happens at 2.26 and you can clearly see that no scottish player hand was touching it beforehand. Also Best had control with the ball tucked between his left hand and forearm. There was definite downward pressure as he rolled over the line before he subsequently lost it. Try is good. First try had a forward pass in the build up though.
Let me be one of those guy who say this type of comment. 50 buck that comment who said Ireland will win the world cup this year (2019) will be wrong. Remember this comment when Ireland doesn't win the world cup... And if I'm wrong... Please feel free, to your desire. Crticise me all u want. For example --what did u say? You say they wouldn't win. Look what happened. -Look who won? Punk! -Delete your comment now. -You are F*** R***** And so on...... As for now,we shall await and see, if a new champion finally arises to take hold of the world cup and dethrone the current champions (The All Blacks) or would they take it out again? Three in a row?.. Definitely thrilling to watch. From the Quarter Final and on... Any of the teams (in the quarter final) has a chance in winning. See you here after the final. 😁
Clear forward pass at 0:59, Sexton to Larmour in build up to first Irish try. Second Irish try at 2:25, Best was not in control of the ball at all and barely had contact with it. Barnes awarded the try without TMO confirmation, which ought to have been requested! Ireland dominated the game and were 100% deserving of the win, but referee in these two cases seems to have made debatable decisions!
I initially thought Best was not in control too, but having reviewed it you can see that he is in control at the moment when the point of the ball hits the ground. He rolls over with the ball tucked into his forearm and the end of the ball is grounded. He then subsequently loses it after touching down. However you can see the moment when his grip was broken at 2.27-28 - there is a definite popping action as the ball breaks free of his grasp, which shows he had control of it in the moments prior. But I do agree that it should at least have been looked at by the TMO. My initial reaction was that it was no try, and I was quite surprised Barnes awarded it immediately.
@@OHCelt You didn't comment on my observations... you opened up a new topic... I was commenting on the refereeing, not the result! That said, the refereeing always has a bearing on the result! Good luck for your upcoming games, whichever team you support... I am a RWC supporter! 😊
does look fwd from the camera angle shown alright for the Sexton pass. For the Best try, Barnes had a much better angle than the camera shot (he was right in front of it looking back at the play from less than 2 yards away).
The more I watch this the worse the bumbling Scottish look, a schools side from Limerick would've put up a better fight. It hurts my eyes watching the Scottish try to play rugby😭
@@3storiesUp you must've had too much haggis for dinner, the Scottish are a mess, their pack were going backwards at every collision, their backs weren't even in the game. 3 points is all they managed. They are the laughing stock of the tournament.
@CELTIC WARRIOR this has nothing to do with being humble, the Scottish are delusional, all the talk from the Scottish camp during the was " we're going to hammer Ireland, if Sexton comes off his line he'll be smashed in 2" all this from a side that spent the week training with a ball covered in shampoo, and then go out and only score 3 points. you couldn't make it up to be fair.
