“Infinite Potential: The Life and Ideas of David Bohm” is a feature documentary about the man Einstein called his “spiritual son” and the Dalai Lama his “science guru.” A brilliant physicist and explorer of Consciousness, quantum theory, oneness and the nature of reality.
This is the full interview with Sir Roger Penrose
Roger Penrose, Basil Hiley and David Bohm spent much time together at Birkbeck College discussing ways to unravel the mysteries of the Universe. Their primary discussions were focused on how to get Quantum Mechanics, Gravity, and General Relativity into one theory. They would meet regularly to discuss this problem. At the time Penrose’s focus was on Twisters, Hiley’s on Quantizing Gravity and Bohm’s focus was on Structure Process, not particles moving in space time, but rather a process through which both particles and space time can emerge. Very radical ideas. The three pioneers, mathematicians and students would regularly discuss these ideas, which even by today’s standards remain well ahead of their time.

Great interview. Love Penrose’s take.

I know he is moving it all in the right direction. I say he is timeless and time is on this advantage that the world was blessed

I'd like to listen more; however, the audio intelligibility is quite poor. Move the mic closer despite the accent, for we North Americans.

Slow down the audio . We Canadians are just fine with the audio

It's amazing that Non-locality is now not just esoteric interpretation but fact that can be disputed no more than Biological Evolution or Continental Drift and earned Nobel Prize just 12 days ago! And Orchestrated Objective Reduction is nearly equally confirmed now when Quantum Deleyed Luminescence Effects were found in Microtubules by at least two independent teams. Plus Anirban Bandyopadhyay new paper on EEG in Megahertz is coming out soon!

The secret of entanglement is in the progression of time. At eternity there is only one pure Quantum state with zero John Von Neumann entropy and absolute symmetry.

Basil J. Hiley emphasizes noncommutativity now. Look up Alain Connes lecture on the origin of quantum randomness. Hiley is now working on a paper based on that Connes noncommutativity lecture. thanks

Unless it is 0 then most things are spinning towards one direction, right

You spelt “Twistor Theory” wrong.
@voidisyinyangvoidisyinyang885
Quite ironic since Hiley actually proposed the Twistor spelling to Penrose.

I've felt always that from the famous physicists, Penrose is the most boring one to listen to. I start feeling sleepy when listening to him speak.

Yes - you spelled "Twistor" wrong - twice. Once in the actual film. Didn't anyone who knows some relevant science actually watch the film before you released the cut? Your credibility, like some kind of quantum wave, has collapsed to an infinitely small point.

It's kind of sad, really... he spent the entire time waffling about something he obviously doesn't even begin to understand...
