Vietnamese single vowel can be tricky and easily mixed up with some English sounds if you don’t pay close attention to it.
In this video, I use a vowel chart to demonstrate all the Vietnamese single vowels, which I think can assist in a visual way when making the sounds

Thank you so much for taking the time to make this lesson! I'm a beginner trying to learn Vietnamese so I can speak to my wife's family. They are from Ho Chi Minh City, so I'm trying to learn Vietnamese in a Southern accent. This video makes it super clear how to correctly pronounce each vowel.

Thank you!! I needed this so badly. I have an auditory processing disorder, so hearing the differences and figuring out how to copy them has been SO DIFFICULT for me. I think I've been annoying my Vietnamese teacher with my slowness. The subtle differences of the vowels just didn't make sense to me at all before this video! Now I understand much, much better.

Thank you so much for the videos. This vowel pronunciation video is by far the best I have found. What would be really awesome is a quiz video where to say a vowel then a word with that vowel with a closeup of your mouth and a few seconds later show what vowel you said with text on the screen. Thank you again.
