In this adventure, I head back up to Big Bear Lake in search of Rainbow Trout. I enjoy some fantastic fishing, lovely food and a new campsite at a familiar campground. Come hang with me on this solo adventure!
Great video Dude! Seriously good camera work showing you setting up camp and cooking. (I know you just put the camera on a tripod, and then go do your thing, but still.. very nice.) Thank you for reminding me why I hate to camp... too much effing work !!! Just give me a hotel room please. Dude , you got some serious skills when it comes to cooking on a fishing trip!!! Mucho respect. Much better than your old man Pops. Hope you had a good time, and thanks so much for bringing us along. Love Big Bear..👍🤛
You can get the injector at any of tackle shop that has a good amount of trout tackle, when you find it, pick up a couple for backups. You can camp relatively lakeside at Serrano campground on the north shore.
There's a point to the left of the white buoy where the floating bathroom is during the summer months. They usually aren't too far from shore in the morning, then move deeper as it gets warmer. Inflated crawlers and corn/garlic powerbait usually work. Lures of various types in a blue/black color seem to work consistently as well. Tight lines!
