Please include the caulking used-I’ve used many before for moulding projects snd they end up cracking-and looking for what u used. Also please share ur clamp down that u used to cut the butcher block with. If from Lowes, I’ll support them.

Looks amazing! It’s a good idea to put the finish on the table bottom as well so that it is sealed all over. It stops the wood warping and is recommended for all natural wood surfaces that are finished in any way.

Impressive job! I am sure your husband is amazed by his talented wife. You might consider using the extra butcher block down center of the table for decor or charcuterie board for parties or riser’s for decor. Love the space

Beautiful elegance, NataLee! Huge impact in a small space. I love it when you are moving at high speed - I wish I had that Superpower! A tip for getting the foam in the cover - save or pick up a long dry cleaner bag. Put the bag over the foam, tear the top open & fold it over the foam. Slide the cover over the foam - your idea to fold the inside out half way is perfect - then work the cover over the foam. Once everything is situated, tug on the dry cleaner bag & it will slide out. I used this on window seat cushions and it was a life-saver. Thank you again for a fabulous tutorial & a load of inspiration! xo

I have a trick for inserting foam ..... if you cover the foam in plastic, like a cut open trash bag, making it into a strip of plastic, or you could use another large strip of plastic..... wrap the plastic around the foam part that you will be inserting into your fabric. It will slide in easily, and then you pull out the plastic and your foam should now be in place. I hope this makes sense.

Late watching this video. Been sewing new draperies and making new accessory pillows for our master bedroom. Your breakfast banquette turned out lovely. Love the added picture frame feature. Absolutely LOVE the herringbone table. Excellent job. Here is a hint that hubby and I got years ago from a retired upholsterer. Use an electric knife to cut foam for cushions. It slices the foam like butter. Have used this tip many times. Great video!

My brother in Law worked for Macy's Furniture making custom couches. He had his own Upholstery Company for over 50 years. What I saw him do when inserting the Cushions in the covers, he put the Cushions i a big CLEAN Garbage bag and with his vacuum, he shunk it. It was AMAZING when he would do that. It was FAST, EASY AND SO EFFICIENT.

Beautiful! I wish I had a space to put a banquet :) Some tricks for getting foam into cushions: they make a spray that you can put on the foam to make it slick and easier to slide in. But, the DIY trick is to put the foam into a garbage bag, stuff the foam in to the pillow/cushion cover (trash bag open end first), slide and work the foam into place and then pull the garbage bag out. :)

Love it. Like how the blacks bounce off the picture, light, pillows, center piece, the chairs, all blending it together. Then all the tans with wicker center to chairs, light shades, rug and again the pictures and pillows. You made great choices. Love the trim accents on wall and bottom of base on table it is perfect. 💪FYI if the edges/ends of foam are wrapped somewhat with plastic it helps to slip the foam inside when longer than your arms can reach. And if plastic is lightweight such as for garbage-and shorter on one side of foam- just tug- it slips right out😍

I would seal the nook recess up . Make it flat to match the out laying ceiling. Then you can hang your beautiful light where you want.

My thoughts on the remainder board is to cut it, piece together to make it a big dough (pasta dough too) board, then whatever is left use to make cheese boards & customize with cricut & wood burn technique that you've done before. 😍 Wow! The finished project looks amazing!!

Amazing table! I truly enjoy watching your DIY projects for a few years. You've given me the inspiration to tackle ideas i.e. thinking out of the box for my home. Just like you I've recently purchased a new home. I've downsized though because I'm an empty nester. I now own a more manageable garden home for my new season in life and it has dated custom features much like yours. My challenge is to refresh it for today's style. My design style is much like yours updated traditional, comfortable, warm colors, homey and cozy with a touch of French country. Thanks to you I have the inspiration to tackle DIYs one room at a time.

Cool pattern on the table...presented me with an optical illusion that it wasn't flat. Love the chairs! I would have taken that curve out of the ceiling and leveled it flat...that sort of thing drives me crazy. LOL But, your idea seemed to work out well too. Beautiful room. FYI anyone. We use Sherwin Williams ORIGAMI WHITE in any finish. It is a gorgeous white and it's not on the Lowes current paint color wall. Have them make you a sample container of it and try it at home. It's a bright white, but not ultra white. It's soft, but not yellow or beige or grey white. It's a white white. Try it,I bet you'll like it. I have used it in my last 3 homes for trim, doors windows and even a few walls. ❤ it looks similar to Natalie's white.

Your kitchen eating nook is a very interesting and surprising combination of refined and rustic elements! I did a similar table idea with a recycled wood round top and cast-iron look (aluminum) pedestal base despite lacking your design-and-build skills. Saved thousands versus purchasing a custom table and it has held up well.

I'm a big fan of Lowe's. We've been a customer for years. From building materials, plants, appliances, decor...evan back before you could order online retail side. We moved to a rural area in 2011. Lowe's is our only large supply company here, which i am happy with because i was a previous customer anyway. I have utilized their website numerous times. If its not instore, i can order and have it shipped to the store to pick up or sent straight to my house if what im looking for isn't in stock. Btw Valspar paint products are the only paint i use indoors and on outdoor projects(Duramax).😉....btw, so happy to see the previous owners and builders took the extra time to round the corners on your walls. A minute thought/design, but truly makes a impact❤

The breakfast-nook looks really pretty !!! BUT still I dislike those benches a lot, even if there is additional storage. It's very uncomfortable to sit (not ergonomic and no back- or arm-rest) and it's a pain to slide behind the table to get to your seat + the other way around (well, maybe the table-corners should be softened a bit). ...reminds me of bad memories in the 60ies as a child... Nevertheless: you did a fantastic job !!! 😀

I'm not even hoping for a reply, but is it a real bouquet arrangement in the vase or is it faux? Absolutely speechless about the table. I have been following this channel for years now and don't really comment ever, just sit and quietly admire. I admire the talent and skills, the creative ways and hard work it all requires. Everyone is talented in different ways, but not all of us are able to share their talent to others AND inspire! As for that floral arrangement, is it something like hops? I'm so mesmerized, reminds me of my childhood so much! I can't firgure out what it is to get one for me. I think, there is a lime/lemon branch too? I'm very curious about these fluffy green hops-like ones.

when I did my cushions I cover the foam with a trash bag then pulled it through .then put my hand in and ripped the bag and pulled it out .works pretty good

The walls look very nice. Nice color. I like the shape of the table and I like that it is Butcherblock, nice wood. I don't care for the herringbone pattern for me it looks too busy. But you do such an amazing job with everything you do. You are so good with power tools😊
