How deep? Waters look so calm. Probably not an Icelandic offshore typical day?!! I lived there for a year and used to watch the small independent fisherman bring in the catches at end of day.... salmon, cod, halibut.... and more. So much fun and so interesting. Wish I could do it today.
Just found your channel and subscribed . That was a great vidoe ,cant fish cod here in New Wrunswick CANADA as they tell us there is no more cod. When we did fish an 8kg fish was huge .
Great videos, and good to see how it is done. Do you reckon a somí 800, with a cabin extension on about 1 meter, meaning less outside deck space, would do alright as a cod fishing wessel?
Used to have them as many here to , but all dissapeared , i was the first to fish sustanable back in the 70's in my part, while them freaking trawlers and guilnetters were f.....ing up everything in the late 80's and beginning 90's , now we don't have any cod left , or just a few maximum size 3 kgs and a few / year above that , such a waste and desolation ...how i miss good codfishing

Newfoundland accepts the five fish a day rules and regs.DFO does not know what is out there in the cod stocks.This guy bleeds some not others. Must be the ones they sell to us......
