When I was a little kid, my school bus driver would stop the bus, get out and walk off into the woods when we were too loud. He would often be gone for quite awhile. When he finally returned, he wouldn’t say a word and we would all be completely silent the rest of the trip. Pretty effective in retrospect. 🤔
Why can't you do this anywhere else?😂just need some open land and not to get caught, I don't think there's any laws anywhere that prohibits off reading a school bus, needing a license to drive one is a different thing but e
As a kid, I always thought the top escape hatch was in case the bus accidentally drove into an exactly bus-sized hole in the pavement and landed right-side up so the only way out was through the roof.
you can laugh all you want but in holland some kid drove a bus from the station the normal route when the driver let the engine running... the kid stopped at every stop before going to his end location LOL
As a current school bus driver, I freaking love this video. I've always wondered how these buses handle being roughed up. ON a side note, a lot of people said their drivers didn't teach them to use the emergency exits and that's sad. I, however, make sure my kids know about every possible way to get out safely in the event that we crash or the driver passes out. All drivers should be teaching this stuff.
School bus driver here, I was told by all my trainers as well as the examiner how to open the roof hatch, but was told each time during Pre Trips and Safety Classes to NOT open the roof hatch because they can be a pain in the ass to close.
Question for a bus driver: I've always wondered this, but it seems to me like flat fronted buses like the one in the video would be really unsafe, particularly for the driver, being that there's literally no crumple zone in front of you. Seems like in a front end collision the driver would almost certainly be toast. Am I missing something?
I am thinking about dropping out of school to focus on my career as a star on RU-vid. I already make a lot of money on RU-vid. School bores me so much. I need more opinions and since I don't have any friends, I gotta ask you, f
@@marioelburro1492 I bet there actually is. There's a ton of school bus fanatics on RU-vid that could probably tell the exact year make model and engine of that thing.
I've ridden schoolbuses many, many times. Probably thousands of times and now in my mid 30s I'm just cracking up watching this schoolbus mayhem! lol you da man!
@@thetransportationguy7930 the rubber got heated up sitting in the same place cause the machine was holding it up slightly. Maybe rocks in the dirt, basically the friction made a dryish contact patch for the rubber to smoke then eventually it stopped.
I have a feeling he would make another video "Bus Offroading 2" and the thumbnail is the bus but in reality its him running it over with monster max. Reverse click bait.
😎👍 I have to disagree I think that the best advice was when there's a bus accident about ready to happen that you should jump in the middle of the aisle and stand still with your arms by your side I have to disagree I think that the best advice was when there's a bus accident about ready to happen that you should jump in the middle of the aisle and stand still with your arms by your side....... But they are so awesome I had to show all my nieces and nephews that are even too little to be on a bus for safety purposes
Usually sponsor messages feel forced. But considering how many people feel it's ok to come on your property, a security system sponsor makes a lot of sense.
@@JackReacheround lol so don't watch the vids. The monster truck builds I don't think pay, they get like 2 videos then break the million dollar monster truck.
On today’s episode Cody takes all his real special friends on a joy ride around whistling land as they stick there peanut butter an jelly sandwich’s to the windows an eat them off
@@mattclinch1976 Its nice to know we have a bus driver hauling our kids around that watches this kind of content. Who ever watches this shit just isn't right in the head oh shit I was watching this.
When I was a kid, school buses did not have the ceiling escape hatch. You had the back emergency exit door and that was it. But then again, this was back when schools were still using either the International Loadstars, GMC or truck depot replacement buses resuscitated out of a salvage yard.
I was one of the last kids to get dropped off. The driver would sometimes drift the bus around the last couple turns when it was snowy. The extra Long wheel base would be pretty controllable I think
@@ShinyKnife there can be many different states even cities with the same name of towns and county’s bro. Even same street names, like Martin Luther king Blvd
The buzzer when he was pulling it I couldint stop replaying it cuz it kept me laughing even it’s been 6 months later since I watched this video it’s still funny😂😂😂😂
Not down a creek but stuck in one when I was a kid with my bus. This was before they built a slab on the crossing. Had to wait hours for the tow truck and the bus driver wouldn't let me walk home even though I was like a mile away.
A guy who runs a camp I’ve been to a few times used to take us off roading in a bus in his field. Funnest shit ever! also he was fired from a school for doing donuts in the bus. What a legend.
My old school bus teacher would gun it over this one hill and if you were sitting over the wheel well in the back, you'd get thrown into the roof. He'd also make the bus backfire going down this other hill.
@EclipseInID 2017 I mean it wasn’t as action packed as I’m his earlyier vids, but for me the comedic value was there, something he didn’t have in the early vids
Me too. I am in a wheelchair for 14 years now due to a spinal cord injury. I will be homeless the 1st of June. And I have been looking for an old school bus to convert into a camper of sorts. One that I can afford. I still couldn't afford that bus even after he was done with it, but the possibilities made me sad.
were going on a trip on a bus but fucking crazy driver in the bus does that students: uhh we have a problem police officer my crazy bus driver doing shit on the bus drives offroad and on water
Honestly, Whistlin was right about the safety hatch on the ceiling because literally I would always look up at that thing and say to myself "how in the world am I going to have enough time to figure how to get out from that thing"... All the kids would've died before they even figured out how to open it.
I remember when I was in high school and we got a brand new 1996 Ford Blue Bird bus that had those roof vents/exits. That was the first time I've seen them. It looked pretty obvious how to open them, but I think our bus driver demonstrated them to us. We also had the new (at the time) windows that would pop out. Four on each side if I remember right. A buzzer would go off if anyone tried to open anything.
I once saw a video of a seemingly stock semi hauler being handled so rough that the frame bent. I had believed then that it had just been lightened and the engine boosted with no visible modifications. After watching these videos, I know better; these things can be absolute beasts when given a chance, we just treat em gently.
