Your gonna feel all that in the morning. The soreness feels good though. I've got plenty from all the pull-ups and dips yesterday. I've only got the bar that you attach to the door. I'm planning on making one in my backyard as well as parallel bars for dips. One day I'd like to get the rings he was using.
I made one out of chain, quick links and a short piece of pipe for the handles. Got it all at Rona for about $35. Mine will never wear out like nylon. I was actually dumb enough to spend $150 on an Axis trainer before I found out how cheap it was to make my own. The Axis trainer is a nice system though. The Human Trainer looks even nicer. I just use my homemade one now.
It is awesome! Glad to see you post a video about that suspension equipment! I just built mine few days ago, doing stuff like inverted rows, pull ups, push ups. Really easy on the wrists. Can start with pronated grip and finish with underhand grip on pull ups :) But, I can not do those exercises where extreme core strenght is required, yet :P Great video!!!
Yea boy definitely gotta show love the suspension trainer is where its at how did you like using it man! you can really take it to the next level with that thing, i can't wait to see what else you got coming on this thing.
@Urbanmotifs Actually yeah! it comes with door anchors so you can just slip it over a door, or ceiling mounts. Also has olympic ring attachment add-ons if you are into that sorta thing.
@Runepuppet Not really. Buy some load straps from the local construction shop. I bought 2 of them. Cost 4.99€ for each strap. so 2 was like 10€. Also they got hooks, so really easy to attacht to the pull up bar. Loading straps are adjustable. Then bought some PVC pipe to make the handles, cost about 1€ TRX equipment for 11€.
I've got my suspension straps fixed to one point in the ceiling. Here you've got them spaced out by about shoulder-width. I guess for the chest press at 0:20-40s it'd be better (easier) if I could fix the straps spaced out at the top? I find that move nearly impossible- is it about spacing out the straps so the angle of pull is more natural, or do I just need to work up to that move gradually? Could you recommend a more beginner level move to work up gradually to the chest press you do please?
The Human Trainer is a good quality piece of equipment, but the pro version at $250 is a bit pricey. Another good quality alternative is the Jungle Gym XT from lifeline USA, its $100 and there are youtube vids on it
@PurpleMenace89 Listen very closely to the end of the video. If you cannot afford to buy it, it is not a mandatory to stay in shape just an extra. Its a great use for different exercises. You can still be in great shape for free with calisthenics and eating right. If people choose to buy it, Great! People choose to not buy it? also Great! Were here to help people, we still will be uploading our free instructional videos, we still be raising money for charity, etc etc wether you buy this or not.
Big fan guys. But please start doing some leg videos. You guys are already fit but for the people following yall, doing legs pretty much doeble the oppourtunity to build muscle and burn calories. Keep up the good work.
Six pack shortcuts isnt necessary either. It is an achievement being able to do a muscle up and be able to have muscle control and being able to do a bunch of moves and tricks with push ups and dips and still get a work out out of it. all the fools at the gym i go to ask how i do it, and i say calisthenics. no "six pack short cuts" i say barstarzz or hannibal
so, what does this video tell us? Gymnasts were always right lol ...just eat right and do the same excercises they do and u ll look like this ;) or like the fitness pole dancers...just the same way. it s gymnastics...the solution lol
