I went to Toro Verde when it was still expanding a lot. I think it was like 2014. The structure where the restaurants are was under construction, and I thought it was going to be a hotel. I remember we did the ziplines, La Bestia, and this feature called The Bridges. The bridges was actually my favorite, because it was actually challenging, and a little scary. The ziplines, even the big ones are cool and entertaining, but not scary to me. I actually felt fear and real adrenaline doing the bridges. They've done a lot of development and expansion, and it doesn't surprise me, especially if they still have the same manager. The lady in charge when I visited was strict, imposing, and all business. You could tell that the place was going to succeed with someone like her in charge. The other thing I enjoyed were the constant great views, because of the elavation of the property. The experience definitely was on the expensive side, but I think it was worth it.
Thanks for sharing that!! I think the bridge is actually still there!! I saw it while on one of the ziplines. What they told me is that you walk on it till you get to the middle and then you have to rappel down from the bridge to the ground. Is that sort of what you did? Either way, everything at the park is great, like you said! 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
@@BriksTravelGuides Yes that's what I remember. We did a series of bridges/challenges, and then we got to a point where we had to rappel down. At no point did you feel as secure and safe as you did with the ziplines.
Haha the Toro Bikes definitely feels weird and scary at first. I still don’t understand exactly how it works 😂 Orocovis is great! I actually visited more places and recorded footage, but decided to add a quick snippet at the end to not make the video so long haha BUT I’m thinking of going back at some point because there are interesting things to see and do there! 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
Hey Paula! Rappelling at the Toro Verde Adventure Park? Or somewhere else in PR? Are you looking to go with a tour guide or on your own with your own gear?
We love your channel. Thank you! We visit every year. Suggestions for hiking with a 3 and 8 year old? We have done El Yunque, and are located in Arecibo. Thank you
Hey Cody! Thank you so much for the support! I think the Toro Negro hike is pretty doable with kids. I have a video about it on my channel so make sure to check it out. 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
Thank you Brik. We’ll done on you informational videos. I’ll be staying in Airbnb in Playa Fortuna. I’m hoping that beach is a good one. I’m also wanting to snorkel. Any recommendations for best snorkel areas? Thank you!
Hey!! I’ve never been to Playa Fortuna, but it is really close to the Luquillo Beach and the Kioskos de Luquillo which is great! If you’re willing to travel to the north west of PR, Peña Blanca in Isabela is a great place to go snorkeling 🤿 Hope that helps! 🙌🏼🇵🇷
I bought them at a generic hardware store 😂😅 You can easily find them at Home Depot or even Walmart. The hardware story I bought them from here in PR is called National Lumber & Hardware.
Hola Carolina! Yo aconsejo que lo compren en linea, especialmente si van durante high season porque los espacios pueden ser limitados y supongo que su equipo se tiene que saber la cantidad de personas que van para prepararse adecuadamente. Espero que eso haya ayudado! 😄🇵🇷🙌🏼
Thank you so much!! They do have helmets with mounts for GoPro, but not all of them so if there are a lot of people you might have to bargain for one haha
@@wilsoncindy6257 that's a good question, I'm not sure since we had a rental car. Call them and ask. The staff there was great! I'm sure they could answer your question.
@@BriksTravelGuides thanks for the info. My wife and I went two weeks ago and it was great. We had no problem finding a helmet with mount. The gift shop even had the part of the mount we forgot to pack for $5.
Hi I love ur channel any way you can ask about gluten free options when you go to the restaurants or where ever u may eat thank you and please talk about it in ur videos much appreciated 😊Happy traveling
Hey Ethan! Thank you so much for your comment! That’s a great idea!! It’s definitely tough to find gluten free, vegan and alternative dietary meals in Puerto Rico 😅
Hola! Did you purchase the "All You Can Do" pass? It says you can only use it from 8AM - 11AM, does that mean after 11AM you can't ride any more of the rides? Or, does it mean that you have to enter the park by 11AM? Thank you!
Depending on how intense this fear is 😅😂 My friend that appeared on the video has a mild fear of highest and he had a great time as you can see haha Just keep in mind that once you’re hooked up to the zip line, there’s no going back 😅😂
Mark .... If someone has a real fear of heights, I would not recommend it. The only way I would recommend it would be if you are committed to getting over your fear of heights. You would be diving head first into the fear, which could be therapeutic.
Hey Edward!! Thank you for considering supporting me! You can go to www.buymeacoffee.com/brikstravel. I also have links on my channel page. Thank you so much! 😄🙏🏼🇵🇷
Hey! We were there from about 9AM to 4PM and we did 4 rides and ate at the restaurant, so pretty much all day haha I had to return on another day to do El Monstruo and that took about an hour at the park. Also keep in mind that I went during low season so things moved along pretty quickly. Hope that helps! 😄🙌🏼😋
No problem!! I would say, if you have specific dietary restrictions, probably, but the food at the two restaurants at the park are delicious! You can also find restaurants in the nearby area that you might like as well. 😄😋
Hey Bettie! Thank you for the sub and the support!! If by “promo sm” you mean “promote social media, you’re definitely right. Trying to find the right balance of what to call out and promote during my videos so people don’t get overwhelmed by all the calls to action, but promoting social media (instagram, tiktok, etc.) is a focus for me this year. Thanks for the recommendation! 😄🙌🏼🇵🇷
