I feel it’s important to live in a safe place. For your family. I choose to live in Canada’s western mountains. No tornadoes, no hurricanes, no volcanoes, tidal waves or earthquakes. All we have to put up with are three months of snow and sub freezing temperatures - that’s it. Peace

😭🙏 yeah I pray for the people that got hit by that hurricane that just went through that they're all safe and alive and well. I heard on the news it took the same path as hurricane Charley did in 2004 hopefully they'll get back to normal soon after that is done with take care and God bless.

It might not be wise to run copper lines EVERYWHERE but sometimes a state is simply CHEAP and won't spend on infrastructure so they let old phone and power lines ROT until they break down. Ours date back to the 1940's lol.

The name "Ian" will be retired from the hurricane naming list and henceforth never used again. I suppose hurricanes are necessary to equalize and stabilize the earth's atmosphere due to the sun's heat on the oceans and natural air movements. But I'm no climate expert.
