@@br0wn676 Well, there are some exceptions due to a bug from Gen 3. Two Pokemon with Shadow Tag opposing each other can still switch out, and Shadow Tag does not affect ghost types. The first rule was put in place to prevent Wobuffet softlocks.

@@Madhatter1781 lvl 1 pokemon are necessary for a few strats. For example if you're using a lvl 1 Magnemite, you can just recycle berry juice repeatedly in combination with the sturdy ability and even though every attack will be a OHKO due to the sheer difference in levels and the opponents offensive stats in comparison to your defensive stats, you will never die and you'll be able to heal to full right after using the recycled healing item. It gets ruined by sandstorm or hail, but steel is immune to poison so it's covered in that sense. It's perfect for stalling with toxic

@@Madhatter1781 A high level magnemite won't be able to heal to full health because it has too much health for any berry to replenish. A lvl 1 magnemite can easily fully heal from berry juice, which allows it to re-use Sturdy, which protects from OHKOs, and every attack is a OKHO when everything else is lvl 100. A high level Magenemite would only be able to use Sturdy once because Sturdy only takes effect when you have full health and get hit by a OHKO attack.

@@acanofjuice in nat dex ag you use both zacian-C is in my eyes better as mega Ray because he can even Deal with dmax mons while mega-ray have huge Problems against example dmax xerneas or dmax calyrex ice and ray have a stealth rock weakness while zacian have a resist Both are unfair Strong

Sounds like a fair comparison. I’m not very knowledgeable on Pokémon, but after seeing a few videos of this guy tearing legendaries to bits they seem to be hyper-focused to a fault. It’s a game of Rock-Paper-Scissors and they’re a boulder. You’re scissors? Dead. But bring paper and they fall like dominoes. Also seems they have the added problem of being very well known. With hundreds of Pokémon, legendaries are the most likely ones people will know the strengths and weaknesses of. Seems everyone has already seen the Death Star plans and goes straight for the exhaust port.

Dialga is a pretty reliable Stealth Rocks setter. It can also dish out heavy damage with Draco Meteor too. Dragon/Steel is a really good typing.

At least get calyrex-shadow or yveltal and zacian

Even then at least having a haze or taunt mon in ag should be some kind of priority

To be fair, I have played gen 1 and 2 on release and I think this game became stupidly complex like card games get. I don't want to have to think about the thousands of cheesy combos and ridiculous set ups to play what is supposed to be a game for kids.

@@MrTigracho That's why you need to come prepared with mons with stuff like unaware, sash/sturdy with counter/mirror coat, spectral thief, haze, taunt, etc.

@@stego7782 this is a silly comment. Unaware doesn’t work- stat boosts increase stored powers BP, allowing it to easily overwhelm clefable and quagsire. Sash is generally not a great item, since any amount of chip damage removes it. Spectral thief is exclusive to one Pokémon. Gothitelle doesn’t have to worry about taunt- it can just choose to trap a mon without it. And most haze users are pretty slow, and would get easily outsped and OHKOed by stored power. Trapping abilities are incredibly restrictive, as they remove one of the most important aspects of singles.

@@kevintreese4544 I’m pretty high on the ladder on national Dex ag ladder and my sash marshadow, taunt yveltal and sash deoxys attack have no issue with trapping mons. You just have to prevent the situation where shadow tag mons can come out freely. Also ditto is very useful on ag to prevent these sorts of things from sweeping your team.

How does the sigilyph not take toxic damage? It's prolly just an ability or smth but I wanted to check. Also what is the purpose of giving it toxic orb in the first place?

@@bunni1280 it has the ability magic guard, in which you can avoid non direct damage; you give it a toxic orb so that if tricked, it poisons the enemy but you also cannot be put to sleep or paralyzed
