IMPORTANT: They do not explain this (or anything) in the video. Make sure your right d-pad buttons (circle, triangle, square, and x) are in the correct slots. They all look the same, but are not. I had the triangle and square buttons backwards and had to take apart the entire controller all over again...

PRO TIP: Just put mine together. In the event you encounter this issue and do not want to take apart your controller, nearly all games allow you to manually adjust the button configuration settings, thusly allowing you to digitally swap the triangle and square buttons. Since the LED's dont have the shapes on them , no harm no foul. Other than tediously button configurations .

I was also thinking of doing Blue Chameleon on Cosmic Red with these buttons! My only concern was brightness being that there are no color to the buttons, just translucency. Was this a big issue for you? Blinding or manageable? The only other option I had was black or white buttons with LED but the clear looks sooooo clean. And I think with the cosmic red and Chameleon plate it would be game over.

This is the most patient & well explained installation video I’ve ever seen in my whole life. That’s saying something. Bravo Would love to see if you have a controller cleaning video, for spills & liquids on it. Mine currently hasn’t been working since tea split on it, so I’m ordering the tools I need to open the controller and fix it. This was a serious help :-)

I was very happy after installing led kit then a great anger the after day leds on left analog have issues when I choose the colour that I prefer all leds light up but only when I choose the red color if I choose other colors (I prefer blue) on left analog lights off. The other issue is the adhesive that continues detack everytime that I had disassembled Dualsense and tried to adhere the sticker don't work more. How do I fix issues?

Do the LED kits work with the Rise 4 kits? They use the same sandwich contacts between the shell and the pcb, not sure if stacking two between them is doable as I'd love to use both kits.

What voltage is needed for the LEDs to work? Can I solder the power wires directly to a switched on power source so the LEDs will just turn on when I turn on the controller?

This was fitted to my controller yesterday but the lights just stayed on, couldn’t switch it off or get into the colour selection mode. My motherboard is BDM20 which shows this works with but the shape looks completely different. Any ideas?

How do you do this with the back buttons also I have those but the DTF LED flex cable goes on the same place the back buttons go would you just connect the back buttons cable first then this led on top or vice versa?

Put the LED flex cable first and then the main black flex cable of the RISE back buttons kit. Sub to ru-vid.comvideos because I heard he is going to make a video of combo the DTF LED kit and the RISE remap kit.

I fixed it myself.the key is to make Sure,the screws are screwed completely.
