Just finished installation and I have to say that I am impressed! The product works very well and the back buttons are responsive. I'm not a tech person at all but this one is very easy to install, as a lot of other people in this comment have already said, follow the tutorial and everything will work out!

I have the 2 button version, bought literally days before this release but all good lol but I am super impressed. I got too dependent on the back button attachment for the ps4 controller to use the dual sense without back buttons. I'm not gonna lie I was hesitant to buy these, but man are they worth it. I'm a fps head so I am looking at the clitcky buttons you have available for the R1 and R2 buttons. Keep up the good work, and I have to say I am glad I made this purchase, scuf and those other controllers are not worth it when there are these DIY options in my eyes.

Thanks for the video bruv, cheers from the US. How does the textured back feel compared to the regular one? I did see your other comments concerning the plastic being better than the metal for the older 2 button versions which was a big help. Just curious if the plastic would get gnarly on the back after a while, for example if it's a porous type of plastic. Hope you have great new year m8

Bought it today and fitted already, i went with black slick panel,think will exchange it for thicker one with pads.So easy to fit with Your instructions👌

Followed guide and worked a treat. Only thing I did when putting the final back plate on was put tape over the paddles and button to keep it in place whilst i attached it. Thanks 😊

Was eagerly awaiting this video... Helpful as always. Is it possible to have this installed along with the triggers and analogue sticks from extreme rate aswell? I currently have the 2 button attachment but would like to fully mod if possible. Also have you used the triggers and analogue sticks alot, are they durable? At last mate! Been waiting on this. I'm trying to find out if I can just swap out my 2 paddles on the back for this 4 paddle design without messing with the internals again? The cables all look the same if I'm remembering correctly... its only the shell/buttons and the remap chip itself that are different it would seem🤔

Ohohoho that new back texture looks nice and the back button kit is looking sleek. My current rise kit is going strong 6 months on, I didn't expect it to last so well, but if it does eventually die I'll cop this new kit 100%

Bought a 2.0 after watching your videos and decided to give it a bash. Didn't realise this was coming out so just cancelled the 2.0 and going for this and the clicky hair triggers. Your videos are probably the best most in-depth tutorials I've seen. I'll still screw it up though haha

Hi Craig just installed back buttons click triggers and new thumb sticks everything working fine thanks to the vid except for an issue where the k3 button clicks then gets stuck any way to fix this?

Hey Craig, have you tried just replacing the back panel and pcb of a rise v2 withe the new rise4? Does it work without reopening everything? Waiting for an upgrade kit like they did with the metal paddles. And do you still prefer plastic over metal version?

I just got done installing. Followed your instructions to the letter… but when I try to enter pairing mode the red led just blinks really fast for like 1 second and then off again. Never got a solid red light. And none of the buttons worked when I got into a game. Ideas?

Hi Craig. Nice vid. Have you tested whether 4 fingers can be rested/ placed on the k-buttons at the same time? The placement of the buttons makes me feel like only 2 fingers can be used to press all 4 K-buttons. Cheers

Hey Craig, after using it for a while, do you think the paddles are too easy to press? Do you find yourself pressing them by accident a lot? I'm hearing some people complain about that.

Would you pick up the extreme rate back paddles or the new dual edge controller?

This will Hold me over till The DualSense Edge releases a Black or Blue Version. Getting too used to having 4 buttons though already while the edge only has 2😅

Just bought this kit on Amazon and I now have a couple of concerns. The PS5 controller I currently have came with the PS5 from pre order. I thought I heard something about being able to see if it's bdm 1 or 2 by the back, without opening it, dependent on what the model code says but it's not similar to other controllers from vids I've seen. Am I going to need a newer controller? Also do you have to cut off the bdm 1 or 2 that comes with the kit, or can you just use the one you need so if you replace the controller you don't have to buy a new kit if it's not the same bdm? Finally will this kit become unusable if a new controller type comes out as replacement (like bdm 3)? I've never bought or installed a kit like this before so please excuse any ignorance I may have on the topic. Any answers to alleviate my concerns would be greatly appreciated.

Great video, thanks for such an easy walk through. Have you (or have you thought about) removing the haptic motors to reduce weight? I always have the vibration turned off anyway so they're never being used.

Do you think if you buy just the back paddles and chip this would work with a rise 2.0 ? So instead of taking all the existing parts back out of the controller you change the back buttons and the chip section ?

How’s that after a while? Also are you happy with the Dual Sense? Seen many people switching over to those controllers. I’m using the Elite Series 2 and used Ds4 as well.

Flawless video,easy to follow. Liked and subbed. I got a small problem tho. Can I reset the mapping or remove it? All my paddles are mapped to the same buttons. Didn’t know that could happen I was trying to switch them. My x and O are each mapped in two paddles

I followed the video step by step and now my controller won’t turn on. When I plug my controller into my ps5 through usb-c the controller lights up orange then turns back off. Any ideas what could’ve gone wrong?

Having a lot of trouble getting the k3 and k4 buttons on at the back, can't really see from the video Mechanism looks like it's supposed to sit on one side and stay there, then force the other side down It always slips of one side like putting a bed sheet on a mattress that's to big

Happy New Year! I already have the old rise with the 2 buttons... The connections seem the same on both, the only difference is the PCB board on the back of the controller that is for 4 buttons. If I order just the new PCB board with the 4 button kit, and change those parts, I think it will work just fine... Do you know if that works??

Hey can you give me some help. I bought this same version so when I'm putting everything together the back baddles dont feel as clicky. They're just kinda hard in place. Can I do something to get them more clicky?

Can commands be mapped instead of a single button? for example in elden ring to use the pouch you need to use: Y + D-pad. Could be assigned to a single K-trigger?
