@@boxiii I kinda can't wait for that to be honest... almost every 300 dollar remote don't come with l2 and r2 to be able to remap which sucks for me.. the ps4 paddles (official) is like the only one 🤦‍♂️

If you are feeling up to it, try out the extreme rate parts. I’ve found that a few of these controller companies are using the same or similar parts anyway. It’s all a matter of if you feel comfortable taking the controller apart or not.

No Soldering needed. Soldering is only needed if you want to pair the paddles to the Touchpad click or the sticks (L3 / R3). One thing to note is that this guide is a bit outdated as it is using the older version of the kit. Sony changed the internals of the controller a bit on newer units, so the newer kit (Rise v2) has different cables for the triggers which you have to cut based on which controller you have (If your model number has an A after it, you have a BDM-020, if it doesn't then you have a BDM-010). It is pretty simple and if you mess up the company will send you a new cable, but if you only want to use X and O you can ignore that too and only install the main black cable/pcb. Also, there is another version of this kit called the RISE 4 which lets you have 4 paddles. nothing is different inside the controller, just the piece on the back.

What games do you play?

@@boxiii Call of duty, fortnite competitively, rocket league mostly competitive and I'll pull out some regular games occasionally like the spiderman games on my ps5 and or lego games like Harry potter

@@1upnolan340 then you will love the Scuf Reflex! It actually has 3 different paddle remap profiles. So you can set one for each game with the press of a button!
