The 1990s Chicago Bulls' theme song is actually called "Sirius" and segues into "Eye in the Sky", the title track from their 1982 album. You should also check out the instrumental "Lucifer", from their 1979 album *Eve* (fun fact: that album's theme is women, and late singer Eric Woolfson's (1945-2009) mother in law at the time is named Eve); "Prime Time" and "Don't Answer Me", both from the Alan Parsons Project's 1984 album *Ammonia Avenue*; "Time" (which was both my mother's favorite song and the theme of my high school senior class yearbook) from 1980's *Turn of a Friendly Card*, an album about gambling; and the instrumental "Mammagamma" a great road trip song from the album *Eye in the Sky*. Hope I didn't ramble too long and bore anyone.

ZZBlue Comet , I don’t think they would classify it as a banger because that means a heavier type song. Great song? Yes, but a “banger” no. It’s like calling Pink Floyd headbanger. That’s what banger means. Plenty of hard bands can’t hold a candle to PINK FLOYD. It’s a categorization not just it’s a good song.

Wanting something heavier from APP, you're wanting "I Wouldn't Want To Be Like You" and "Games People Play". Two rather well known instrumentals are "Lucifer" and "Mammagamma". Lastly, a slower but a great retro "wall of sound" production with "Don't Answer Me".

This song is one of those songs that I have heard since I was a teenager. Always loved this song and thought it meant way more than my understanding. So, listen to this lyric; eye in the sky. I can read your mind. What if this is Big Brother? How would they know? Lyrics; Maker of rules, dealing with fools, I can cheat you blind. Ummm…we have been manipulated, overly taxed unfairly & suffered inflation our entire lives-cheated blind. This is Orwell 1984. What I am talking is not red or blue politics. It is bigger than that. It’s the hidden puppet master. The eye in the sky (surveillance). Nobody will probably even read this because I am here 3 years after posting. I see a lot now that I didn’t see before.

This was the background music for me while growing up. It didn't enthuse me enough to buy it and listen to it over and over. But I didn't mind listening to it when friends played it or when it came on the radio. It could stem from my state of mind at that time. I need to study the lyrics now that I'm an adult. I prefer Supertramp.

@P rotoin From the album liner notes: "I Robot... The story of the rise of the machine and the decline of man, which paradoxically coincided with his discovery of the wheel... and a warning that his brief dominance of this planet will probably end, because man tried to create robot in his own image."

Time to give The Guess Who a listen. I think you guys would appreciate "No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature" for the way two songs are seamlessly woven together (plus it rocks), but they have a lot of good music to choose from, and Burton Cummings can sing his a$s off.

My first year in college. This was extremely popular (I grew up in the Netherlands), and new for all of us who were too young for Pink Floyd. I would say this fitted in with the ELO and Supertramp style, symphonic rock etc.
