Aww, you memories are wonderful, Mo! And I really want that Viseart palette; I have never tried any of their makeup, but I was a French and English major in college, and the Modern Language Workship for my college. Madame Aspasia Bishara was one of my French professors; her father was Greek, mother was Russian, she was born in Egypt, moved to Paris later in life and spoke 9 languages. She was a woman in her 60s then, and she was SUCH a hoot, so full of laughter and joy; she was a true Renaissance woman. She would always address me as, "ma petite chouchoutte," and I love being her little cabbage, lol! This palette is not only beautiful but would make me think of Sia everytime I used it. 💗
I studied French in high school Ellie and minored in English in college. My French is mostly forgotten but does come in handy for makeup names. What a fantastic person to learn from-renaissance woman, indeed!
Hi Mo! I'm so happy you did this tag. You were one of the people I really wanted to see do it. I loved hearing your story about your Guerlain palette from Disney World. Side note - I'm a huge Disney fan. When you said the L. A. Girl palette was your everyday palette, I yelled out, "I knew it!" My dogs didn't seem to care, but I was pleased with myself. My definition of most colorful is the same as yours - the most variety of colors. It's so sweet that your husband got you the Disney Princess palette. My husband is supportive of my makeup obsession too.

Hey Mo! Better Off Dead!!!! John Cusak!!!!! That was an awesome movie! I haven't seen it in years! I remember getting some money and buying Lancome, Chanel & later Dior products and just hoarding them. I also remember when a "palette" was the Estee Lauder Holiday Blockbuster. I would love to see a review on the Divine rose palette! When i saw the pictures of the second divine rose palette i got really exited. But to be honest (and realistic) i would get more use out of this first one. I've also been thinking of picking up the Metropolis palette from Natasha Denona so i have to make my mind up which one it"s going to be :)
I’m plan to do a review of Divine Rose, Mandy, because you and several other people have requested it. I don’t know why, exactly, but I never had a craving for Metropolis-other people have enjoyed it, though, I know.

My most treasured palette is UD naked 3 because my mom, no longer with me anymore, gave it to me and I will never get rid of that one 😊. And I shall thank you for my love for Viseart eyeshadows! 🌻

Hi, Mo. Thank you for sharing the lovely story of your dad. It was very touching especially since I lost my dad just a few months ago. 💗 I just recently bought the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk palette and was taken aback at the similar colors to the Just Peachy Mattes. It actually makes me sad that I’ll have to set my JPM aside to get some use out of the Pillow Talk palette to justify the price I paid for it. But hindsight being 20/20, I would have been set with the JPM and the small Tickled Peach palette I already own. 🤷🏻♀️💸💸💸🙏

Perhaps you can take turns with Pillow Talk and Just Peachy Mattes-so you don’t have to choose one and ignore the other-perhaps that would feel better. Yes, that little Tickled a Peach palette is pretty nifty, too!

I also think Natasha Denona is over rated. I have the mini retro and one from Boxycharm and the shades swatch well but don’t apply well even with eyeshadow primer and talk about fallout ,you’ll find glitter on your face days later . My mini Elf pallet is so much better for $4 .
