Hi Mo! I totally agree that it's better to have one thing that's special instead of all the things that are special. That's how I feel about my Natasha Denona Gold palette. I wouldn't treasure it as much if I had other Natasha Denona palettes. Another thing I learned about myself after I bought the ND palette is that I really don't enjoy using such an expensive palette. I think it's beautiful, and I love looking at it, but I don't have as much fun playing with it as I do my other palettes. It's almost like I'm afraid of it because it was so expensive, lol.

Hi Mo! I'm so happy that you decided to review this palette! The color story is very much in my taste preferences. It is the first one to tempt me enough to purchase. I've been waiting for your review to decide and I placed my order for it today! Thank you so much for your hard work and information!

Had to be sure you knew- just saw you on Lisa Eldridge’s Instagram feed wearing Skyscraper Rose! Beautiful photo

I did see that, Peggy. I adore Lisa Eldridge, so that was rather exciting. Thank you for mentioning it.

I also have loved make up since I was a kid, for me a long time. It is nice to hang out with someone who shares my passion for the stuff. I have a husband who also is extremely supportive of my unnatural attachment to make up and nail polish. Thanks and keep making these fun and helpful videos.

A long time for me, too, Ellen. Do you have many ‘real life’ people who share your interest? I don’t. Connecting with people here has really been refreshing. I could nerd out over this stuff all day-and sometimes do😊

Hi, Mo! Your review is timely. I was sooo going back and forth, whether or not to purchase the Divine Rose II palette. I have 2 of PML's mini palettes and love the formulas. Now that I've finally gotten over the sticker shock (actually, I crossed that bridge when I bought ND's Metropolis palette) I'm trying to decide which Mothership palette I want to add to my shadow collection. I'm kind of more drawn to the palette you just reviewed. I've also been considering the Bronze Seduction palette. I love what you said about letting a special item shine on its own for a bit. Thanks for another great vid!

Oh, I'm so glad, Claire. I was going back and forth on whether to post this video this 'late in the game'. I admit, if I didn't have either of the 'Divine' palettes, I'm not certain which I would choose. I can only say I'm happy with this one. The other PM palette I ve considered several times was Bronze Seduction--it always looks beautiful to me. I would guess any one of them would be lovely to have. You're very welcome, as always--so glad to have you here!

Hey Mo 👋 I’m late for the video 😩 but I’m here! These Rose palettes really speak to me, the color story is beautiful as well as the swatches. I feel the same way about having something special, if I get one is going to be one of the Rose. Thanks for all the info and the very informative video, as always 🌻

Hey Irma! It’s always so nice to know you’re here. The colors are beautiful, certainly. I admit, sometimes I’d like to have ‘all the things’, but there are times when ‘just one’ makes it more special for me. You are, as always, very welcome.

Hi Mo! Good to see you! Thanks for the review. The colors speak to me and the formula looks beautiful. I still go back and forth over getting it. I think my next palette will be the Natasha Denona Retro palette. Thanks again and I hope you and yours are well!

Hi J Marie-I had a feeling these colors would speak to you! ‘Back and forth’ makes complete sense to me-it’s a lotta dough. You’re very welcome, as always. I hope the same for you!

The palettes are so pretty but I just can’t get past the sticker shock! I just love your reviews! I don’t use glitters so I can’t bring myself to pay that much for a palette I won’t use all the colors. Thank you so much for the review!

I ended up getting the palette in the limited edition packaging. I think it’s beautiful but in my opinion not worth $125. With that said, I’m happy to have it, but as you mentioned I won’t mind just having one.

Oh, I think the LE packaging is really nice--I'm glad you were able to get that, Evelyn. Yeah, $125 is a LOT--but one will do just fine for me, too.

I wanted this in November SO bad but like you said-it disappeared after the First day! My husband was even willing to splurge & get it for me as a Christmas gift from the Sephora near Disney-only for it to never be in stock anywhere at the time. I was so salty about it but I couldn’t resist, I snagged this the 2nd time it restocked on the PMG site. None of her other palettes have tempted me as much because I think I’ll get my money’s worth out of this in terms of every-day usability. I’m happy with it but I think just one full size PMG palette is enough for my collection. If I *HAD* to choose between the full size larger palettes from PMG or ND, I’d have to say I’d go with ND simply because her formulas are a little easier to work with and there are more shades. Again, I’d NEVER give this beauty up but it may be my last 10 pan PMG palette. Do you have any tips on how to best apply the special shades? For example, Astral Solstice gives me a fit every time I try to use it. And I struggle getting Iridescent Pink to come across on my eyes as well. Regardless of whether I use my finger or a brush... Any advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, wasn't that weird, Savanah? I mean the way it launched and then completed disappeared? I mean, I get creating 'scarcity' but that seemed rather extreme. Anyway...I'm glad you got it and you like it. The colors are lovely and right up my alley--though I could do without the glitter shade. I don't mind it on occasion, tough. I haven't tried that one yet with a glitter glue because I generally use it as a 'topper', so it kind of flies all over. As to the other 'special shades' I haven't really noticed an issue. I love duo chromes, and the formula on these seems to work for me. Do you generally use an eye primer or glitter glue?

Hi Mel, thanks for your review! Can you comment on the formula and whether it is user friendly on mature eyelids. I had one of these palettes and didnt get on with the shimmers. There was too much glitter and it just wasnt for me xx🇬🇧🇬🇧
@motildamulgrew
@motildamulgrew 4 года назад
Hi Angela--I think the mattes are wonderful, but the 'glitter' topper is pretty glittery and flaky and the 'gold' color has a fair bit of 'glimmer', too. If you don't prefer shimmer/glitter, this may not be the thing for you. I hope that's helpful.

Hi. So glad you did this review. I’ve gone back and forth so many times on this. The main reason I was hesitating, other than the outrageous price, is that I don’t like glitter formulas and fallout. I thought all4 would be glittery but seemed like just one. Is that right? Thanks for your help
@motildamulgrew
@motildamulgrew 4 года назад
There is one 'glitter', though it's not like a pressed glitter, Peggy. There are metallics and shimmers, and the gold has a little bit of glitter, but it's not a straight-up glitter. I am comfortable with everything in the palette--though the 'glitter' does have fallout, so it's my least favorite of the formulas. Does that help, Peggy?

It does help. I wonder if Divine Rose 2 is the same mix? Think I’ll wait to hopefully see both in Sephora although they may not have it🤞 I think my local one opens Saturday!!!
