I do the opposite lol, I don't like the texture of most eyeliners so I use a small paintbrush and nontoxic black paint

I had this big "I hate girly things" phase that went on for years on end which also meant I never bothered to learn how to use makeup. Now I'm older and uglier lmao and it's such a pain to practice things like eyeliner or just makeup in general. I keep messing it up even after watching several tutorials and I'm so tired of removing it all to start over.

Same but I still don't like too girly stuff. It's OK to some point. Only natural makeup is fine for me. It's quicker. I don't like thick makeup.

There’s eyeliner stamps on Amazon if you wanna go that route. It’s for people who want to do that cat eye look at the ends of their eyes but don’t want to bother with making them look symmetrical. I usually just put to lines at the ends because I’m that lazy.

i dont get how people do eyeliner then curl their lashes cause it rubs off when I curl my lashes since I wanna curl the very roots. I also dont get people who put on eyeliner after eye shadow cause it's so easy to mess up eyeliner and you'll have to erase it if you do along with erasing the eye shadow

I still don't understand how people can tightline without it irritating their eyes later on. Maybe it's just me but my eyes are so sensitive, even wearing mascara for so long makes my eyes tired ? haha. Also I remember throughout high school I went thru different eyeliner phases. Freshman year it was pencil eyeliner with mascara, then onto just liquid eyeliner itself, and then brown gel liner for a more natural look my senior year 😅

its because of the chemical that they used. my dermatologist doesn't recommend me to use make up at all because it reacts on my face, but i still insisted to do it. I just do it everytime i do videos and should stay for 1 hr or else my face will react (sneezing cause of foundation, teary and red eye). When i experienced being make up for my yearbook grad, I teared up also. It irritated my eyes so much. You need to know first if u have skin allergies like me. I have seborrheic dermatitis w/c is totally sensitive on several chemicals.

Mine won't even show on my water line, and when it does it's faded from the water in the eye specially when I blink then it just washes away.

I use my finger tip to pull my eyeline upward to both keep it still and to expose my waterline. And then I go in with gel eyeliner, maybe if it stabs you keep it less sharp? Practice makes perfect for me

Thank you so much for the tutorial. I admire the way Asian girls do their makeup and have come to learn a lot from them. For example the puppy eyes liner looks amazing on me and in Europe you never really see it. Brown liner here is really underrated too and I'm just now trying it more out. And I admit, I like it. After so many years wearing only black it feels a bit weird but I am getting used to it.

cupcake girl I've tried it with eyelashes glue. But it didn't help much. My eyeliner got smudged. Besides, I like to wash my face a few times a day. So, the stickiness doesn't last long either :(

As a beginner in makeup I always used liquid eyeliner it's very nice and easy and you have better control of it and if you fail you can just make corrections but this is my opinion

I have myself deep set european eyes and ive always done a mix of japanese/korean makeup on my eyes and european makeup everywhere else... it looks nice but i wouldn't suggest doing a puppy, downward eyeliner, at least on me it doesn't look very flattering

My eyes are like really hooded like there are folds after you pull them up but it still forms a pretty ish monolid and it's hard to explain how my eyes look but I can't like put eyeliner on because it doesn't go to where my lashes are and looks weird, etc

I wear -7.75 prescription glasses so I can't really see when I do my eyeliner and when I get close to the mirror, my liquid liner just hits the mirror. Any tips? I don't really want to wear contact lenses.

Jungshook I'm -8.00 on my right eye. Tilt your body at an angle and look at the mirror sideways, that way there's more room for your liquid eyeliner to move without hitting the mirror and you get to monitor your drawing closely. Another way when the first method becomes uncomfortable is to look at your eye closely before moving just an inch farther away (more room for your eyeliner to move) to complete the line.

Jungshook Third way is to get a magnifying mirror (they exist). That way you don't have to stick your face too close to the mirror to draw the eyeliner. Lastly, try wearing your contacts before doing eye make up so you don't have to squint while doing it.

Is it necessary to tightline even if the waterline is a little visible ? I feel uncomfortable and my lashes tend to fall out. But then again my eyes look a little weird because i didn't.

Thank you for making a useful video unni~~!! Can you please do a basics tutorial on eyelashes? After the eyeliner, I have so much trouble with eyelashes. I always wonder what technique people use to curl their lashes, and ways to apply top/bottom lashes & like which types/ designs to get to achieve a look that we want~~ And also, eyelash care tips to make them more noticeable~~ I always see people take nice selfies and their lashes always appear so nice, but mine are so non-existent ;(
