Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment - really appreciate it! - Love the idea for a palette ranking; will plan to do it brand wise - I think I have one ranking all my Huda Beauty eyeshadows already - will Link it in a follow-on comment :) - Sephora in India isn’t too great (may change with Reliance’s recent acquisition though) - Nykaa usually has great Pink Friday sales- typically happens twice per year; once in December and the other in April-May - best time to snag deals on eyeshadow palettes - Will think through a more comprehensive list of suggestions on how to make the best of these sales so you get the most bang for your buck :)

I Can feel your passion for hoarding. High Five for that! The expiry of Huda Beauty Pallettes is 2 years . Please use them up before that. Also is it okay to use eyeshadows after their best before date ?
Technically safer to use before the expiry date. But tbh, one could never get through eyeshadow so most people I know/follow hoard eyeshadow for years together. My hypothesis is that since its a powder product it is not as risky and of course you need to keep checking if it looks safe - some eyeshadows develop mould/spoil over time and I have heard of folks who have gotten eye infections because of that. My limit would likely be 4 years; max. 5 if I have hardly used and stored them well.
Hi, can you recommend which palettes have the best long lasting shimmers? I have these beauty bay palettes which have quite pigmented mattes but the shimmers crease on me and I'm looking for shimmer only or mostly shimmer palettes for weddings (mainly different shades of gold, light coloured shimmers etc)
Hello! These are the brands/palettes which have great shimmers: 1. Huda beauty Mercury Retrograde. Naughty Nude is good as well but is more neutral leaning with a mix of mattes and shimmers 2. Oden’s Eye make really good shimmers with some fantastic colour stories 3. Viseart is good but can be a bit more soft; but the pocket sizes are great for travel 4. Kaleiodos is great for shimmers as well - some really high-impact formula 5. Not included in the video but both Bobbi Brown and Charlotte Tilbury have these cream shadow sticks - which have some great shimmery colours that can work as one and done looks Hope this helps! @@mashantha hi, so a little update... I got the mercury retrograde palette. Yesterday I did an eye look and I found that the shimmer creased on me. Not right away but towards the end of the night it did and I felt the eyeshadow was not as vibrant as it was in he beginning.. Do you think I need glitter glue? Or what's your technique to make the shimmer last long? Thanks
@@makeupisallaboutyou Hello - I always use an eyeshadow base/primer…or you could use your concealer as an eyeshadow base and then try the shimmers on top…
