In the suburb of Chicago, the eighteen year-old Ian is a naive and virgin teenager that is mocked by his homophobic brother Rex and his schoolmates; his best friends are Felicia and the wolf Lance. When Ian meets a girl called Tasty in Internet, he writes many lies about himself; when she invites him to drive to Knoxville, Tennessee, to have sex with her, Ian steals Rex's GTO Judge 1969 and travels with Lance and Felicia. When they have trouble on the road with the car, the Amish Ezekiel offers to help them in his community

I worked with a Amish guy years ago. He knew sarcasm. When we worked together he was so sarcastic with me. Shit was a riot. Same reason his people didn't really get it. Hell of a great guy and worker.

@@sketch3744 I was never a fan of Chris or family guy. robot chicken is good, I just never got into it. There's definitely a talent to voice acting, but live acting is a different animal. Take Seth McFarlane(not sure if that's how it's spelled) for example, incredibly talented voice actor, but I thought he was awful in a million ways to die in the west, and was completely unfunny. Seth surprised me in this to the point that I could remember all of his jokes even though I hadn't seen the movie in years and it changed my opinion on him. Beforehand I wasn't a fan of his other roles

I was just thinking about this movie... well these scenes anyway. They were the most memorable parts for me and that was because of Ezekiel. So here's to the writers for coming up with such an unexpected dichotomy of traits for the character and to Seth for nailing it 100% !

This whole thing is priceless! From start to finish! I lived in an area with an Amish community and interestingly enough, if you have something nice for sale, they will nit pick and make you feel like crap so you knock the price way down and then they buy it knowing the great deal they got and how bad they made the seller feel yet when they want to sell some piece of junk, they want bank for it because "it's Amish." The term "Amish" and the name "John Deere" are the same, you're "going to pay a lot for this muffler" (for those who remember the old Midas commercials).

I suppose I have been working for 25 cents an hour for the last 10 years, I am explicitly tired of being poor. I find it interesting when someone thinks I'm some sort of source of money, when they figure out how much money I've got they drop me like a hot rock. A lot of things that likely wouldn't pass in todays Hollywood because of PC but that's what makes it great. Watch it and you'll see what I mean. I laughed from start to finish.

I love how Seth Green plays such a secondary character and still becomes the most memorable thing about the movie. Without him this film was just another fairly generic teen movie from the oughts. Not bad for what it is, but fairly forgettable. Then you have Seth Green being a sarcastic as fuck Amish guy, and 16 years later this movie still lives rent-free in my head 🤣

I know a whole group of Amish. They are the nicest people, this is the truth. Worked at a gas station in the middle of nowhere. We had a TV and they would sit and watch the Nascar races, NFL, NBA, Baseball, hell wheel of fortune. Good people.

Last year I was driving thru some flat farmland areas that were way out in the middle of nowhere. The roads were straight as an arrow for miles. All farm fields and occasional house. In the middle of nowhere had to slow down because an Amish teen boy and girl all in black and white were roller blading down the middle of the highway. Without another soul in sight. Just a very odd encounter.

Hailing from Tennessee and living near the town they were driving too, also with family near Amish country in Pennsylvania that I routinely visit, I am in a unique position (with this movie) to honestly say the only thing more far fetched than finding an Amish man who can work on a car like that is driving _to Knoxville_ for sex!
