@@PooreditzI questioned it also, haven't gotten there yet. Since she's so obsessed with him and being as narcissistic and manipulative as she is, she would have kept it if she knew for certain it was his imo. At the same time she's too selfish to want to have children.
@@mermaidsquad1391 This is so valid - yeah I believe if she did know it was his, yes she would've kept it - in her mind, that would've surely roped him into her life forever - but if it wasn't his, she'd really be stuck so it had to go - definitely valid.
He said in an interview that the green sweater she's wearing the day he's on the stand - is one that he gave her. Only the 2 of them would know that & she wore it the day he's on the stand on purpose - this whole trial was just a joke to her - and she was still actively trying to manipulate this man - right in front of all of us.
My understanding is that it was HIS sweater. She took a lot of his clothes when she moved out when he was out of town & he thought it was tacky to ask her parents for the clothing back. Even though he had to pay to replace them. (Remember she just had to return a heating pad & bookmark to Alex because they "made her sad" but kept half of Jason's clothes.) She refused to wash them to keep his smell on them. Twisted doesn't even begin to describe this demon.
now i'm imagining that after he said he wasn't sure if the fetus was his she loudly got up and dramatically undressed his sweater, threw it on the ground and then stomped on it while making full eye contact with him.
This is the weirdest trial I have ever seen. Why does this poor guy have to read the messages out loud that his ex sent to the man she was cheating on him with??? Wth
I think they had him read jt because he discovered she was cheating when he found them. And I think they were trying to stir up negative feelings about her within him so he wouldn’t speak kindly of her white testifying.
I agree. I can’t believe all the stuff they’re spending time on. This entire trial is bizarre. In another video there is endless testimony about her sex life. Way more than I see as relevant to why or if she murdered poor Alex.
How can you stab someone to be death and be smirking in court like that? Absolute lunatic. EDIT: The funniest thing is watching her read the diaries of the guy. She likes to think of herself as a well spoken, intelligent woman, but there are so many times that she completely misreads simple words, showing the cracks in her facade. See the video from Dreading: "Psychopath Gets Life In Prison". Around the 16:50 mark she can't even read the word 'albeit'.
I agree but her face during verdict made up for all the times my blood boiled watching her smirking and manipulating jury during her cross examination. The smirk was wiped off of her face and it felt good to see her for once being hit with reality.
Yah that was very telling. No remorse shown what so ever. She murdered her gentle, nerdy lover for her handsome, army boyfriend. Claims to be gender fluid, lgbt but acts likes the most desperate trad 304 I've even seen.
This case was so confusing to me. I haven’t seen it all yet, I’m just now diving into it but when she said she was “boy” and then they said her birth name was Monica, I was assuming she transitioned from a boy until she said Monica. So she just experimented with gender? I’m not being snarky at all, I’m genuinely confused by her. It seems like literally everything she does is attention seeking. Even the way she speaks. She definitely tries to manipulate everyone around her. She was even doing it to Jason when he sat down to testify by the way she was looking at him!
To be fair, she's a lot like some young people who feel the need to stand out/crave attention and come off as "mature, intelligent, and sophisticated," which is usually something that comes with age and experience. Normally, the worst thing is being found out they're a "desperate poser." I don't blame Alex for being fooled by her obvious lies, as they were both around the same age, but Jason is well over 10 years her senior. He should have known better than to get involved with someone so bleedingly damaged.
inss as keats heard that game was EVIL but he is slick and paints it a nice activity - beginning to wonder about this dood - he seems to put on the good guy act but tries to defend her actions -
Ive been seeing people giving this guy a lot of flak and I'm not saying he doesnt deserve some of it. HOWEVER. He even says he suppressed a lot of whats happened. He's in court testifying against his psycho ex girlfriend who killed one of his friends, tried to frame another for r*pe, gaslit him, used him, had an abortion that also effected him and he doesnt even know if it was his. And if she had been found not guilty, she could have gone after him next. SO if the guy is stumbling over himself a bit, give him a bit of a break.
@zen_room_pl You can make a tough decision and still be effected by it. He let her make the choice for the abortion but that doesn't mean it didn't have a negative effect on him. It's quite understandable that it would.
@@merrymeditationyeah which makes me wonder why ANYONE would want to spend any serious time with her. She's a bum. This guy is immature and WANTS high school and college drama in his life. Talking about how he felt isn't an opinion. Jason saying Ezra threatened self harm and made him feel like she didn't want him to go to his Monday night game thing isn't an opinion. The defense was incredibly hypocritical on what they considered "opinions". It was fine and encouraged when they wanted an opinion but they objected repeatedly to the point it made testimony disjointed during prosecution's questioning.
Opinion was definitely the wrong word. If the defense really had something here, they would have pointed out that his feelings (in this example) were based off of his INTERPRETATION of ezra's words (which let's be honest, her words were threats), however, pointing out the fact that he interpreted her words the same way any person with a brain would have- likely would have went over the jury even worse than just going with the generic 'that was your opinion' line. They were grasping at straws throughout this whole trial, really

Seems weird that a guy his age would seemingly seek out college age kids to hang out with. I got a late start at college, graduated at 25. The last 2 years were unbearable being surrounded by 18-22 year olds.
He is very immature. Doesn’t know his age, doesn’t know where he is originally from, answers end with a question? Probably has lied about his age so much he can’t remember his real age.
I've got no connection with the military (but just from watching movies 😅) ...doesn't roger mean 'message received' or something like that? Not 'correct' or 'yes' as he seems to be using it?
She lied to everyone, are we even certain she was even pregnant ? He says she wasn't putting on weight. He paid for abortion, she didn't want him there. Did she really had an abortion ? Or was it all to feed her ongoing drama ?
Jason knows she was pregnant. He was there when she was tested, and he took her to the abortion clinic. The abortion clinic wouldn't have scheduled an abortion and taken her in that day if she weren't pregnant. The reason she was losing weight was because she was vomiting a lot and lost her appetite. I think she wasn't very far along in the pregnancy, so the fact that she wasn't showing isn't surprising.
@@sashmo8 You don't need to wonder. Jason was pregnant when Ezra was tested for pregnancy and he rode with her to the abortion clinic and actually wanted to be present but Ezra said no. The clinic would not have scheduled an abortion for a woman who wasn't pregnant.
Who amongst us has not gotten involved with the wrong person? This guy just hit the unlucky jackpot. I always feel for someone who puts their best self forward and is taken advantage of.
@It-is-me...Melsie I can only speak from my own experience, but it I took me an embarrassingly long time and distance from my previous relationship to realize it wasn't that great at all. Jason was constantly lied to and manipulated. Ezra was a big fish in a small pond and good enough at lying. It's gonna take him awhile to fully process and untangle everything...if he ever does.
I know someone just like her. Everything is someone's fault. She always needs help and only messages when she needs help. She instigates and then wants to blame you. She never makes mistakes and other people do. If you speak up she plays the victim. It's scary how these traits are so specific to people who can just snap one day and kill you.
Just watch the first 10-15 seconds of this she's literally glowing looking at this man. Her glasses are even getting foggy. She has to clean her spectacles..😆
Are you kidding....Jason was the next person on her murder list. Do you actually think she wouldn't have tired of his nonsensical personality. She's a narcissistic psychopath. He would've disappeared in two years .
This guy is a Medic in the military, and yet, smoked, hung out at a coffee shop, with people as young as Ezra! Something strange about his life for his age.
Have you been around a military base? lol. This is the most common thing ever. Most of those guys are dating girls just out of high school. Not saying it’s right but it’s very common.
@@KayButtonJaythat is so true. Some vets around this guy's age were dating girls in middle school. I blame the dudes. Those girls were very aggressive but you have to remain an adult when a child is trying to hook up with you. I don't care how old she looks to you... how old is she really!!
Man this is incredibly embarrassing for everyone involved lol. And Ezra is a straight up sponge just sucking the life and energy of every she comes into contact with smh. Now it's the taxpayers time apparently
You don't think Jason had anything to do with it? Immediately starting a sexual relationship with her and then moving her into his apartment within a month? But after she had the abortion he was distant and wouldn't even sleep in the bed with her? And there's much more. He should have known better, he was in his mid-30's and she was only 19.
@@musicloverchicago437 no because I believe that it was completely her decision to have the abortion. He alluded towards that narrative multiple times saying how it was her choice and he couldn't force her to make a decision. She didn't even want him to be there for the abortion not even for moral support. I could fully understand how he could be cold and distant afterwards. And judging from all the impulsive and immature things she did before and after. I don't think she put much thought in to the ramifications of that decision or the damage it could potentially cause to their relationship. She's the one who broke up with him the first time while he was on vacation in California to clear his head
@@hilriekemp Since writing the comment you responded to I found some interesting stuff in the Wisconsin court records. It appears Jason had impregnated two women prior to Ezra and those women gave birth and sued for child support. So I think Jason was probably relieved that Ezra wanted an abortion and that's why he stayed out of it. I wish this info had been part of the trial evidence but it was probably disallowed for some legal reason.
@@musicloverchicago437 regardless of the sealed nature of that information it has no evidentiary value in this particular case he's not on trial she is. And if anything it could have seen as prejudiciary to the witnesses testimony towards Ezra and the jury's perception of Ezra. Seeing how he's had two prior children and neither women considered having an abortion nor did he advocate for it. So it would have ended up hindering her defense because they used the abortion as traumatic event and catalyst for her downward spiral. All this tells me is that no matter how bad the relationships were Jason wasn't a fan of abortion. Like he wanted to be there with her throughout the process. I think you're giving Ezra way to much credit for her terrible decision making. None of Jason's friends liked her nor most Alex's friends or most of the workers at Racys.
@@musicloverchicago437 what the fuck does that have to do with anything lol why would it be in the trial? Should they have submitted his high school attendance records and tinder profile while we're at it? Jason barely has anything to do with this, he's just assumed to be part of her motive since she murdered Alex the day after Jason broke up with her officially. Both of these people are far left hipsters, fucking immediately is what they do, as is moving in their bum friends and lovers because none of them have jobs or places to stay half the time. She was kicked out of her parents house because she was a bum who refused to work, so obviously she jumped to move in with the first guy she could get her hooks into, where she continued to refuse to get a job or pay rent. Many men are stupid and easily manipulated into selling the souls right out of their bodies by a decent looking woman who's regularly willing to give good head. Plenty of older men that date younger women are creeps, and this guy, along with Alex god rest his soul, were pretentious losers, but none of that negates the fact that Ezra is batshit insane and extremely manipulative and malicious and did everything she did of her own accord for her own reasons. Ezra has literally nothing going for her, she's no prize by any metric, the dude isn't conspiring to murder someone for her hand, which he already had as she was obsessed with him. He stayed with her through her fucking TWO of his friends as well, so he's far from the possessive or jealous type who would jump to killing the other man, either. And your abortion argument... what is the correlation? That any man on child support should be happy for any future pregnancy they cause to be ended? They were actively in a relationship and he claimed to want to marry her, of course he's going to be emotionally affected by her choosing to abort their child, especially since it wasn't a mutual decision. What are you even implying? That Jason pretended to be affected by the abortion as some evil ploy to cause Ezra to go insane and kill a man she hadn't even met yet? There is literally nothing in this case that even remotely suggests Jason would have been involved, you're grasping at straws because of your own biases based on gender and age. Literally the only people I've ever seen defend Ezra in any capacity are people saying "but you guys!!! a man in his 30s dated a teenager!! That makes her the REAL victim here and she shouldn't go to jail! Or at least make Jason go to!!". Ezra is a murdered and abuser, all of the men in this case are HER victims, she wasn't abused or wronged by anyone from start to finish.

It's probably never a good choice for the child who dies but nobody has been able to ask one as they're all dead. She really messed up there… My heart goes out to Alex’s family, I’m just saying that Jason seems like quite the catch…not just his looks, but after watching his police interview-he seems extremely kind and almost super human re: understanding and forgiving.
Boy, I'll tell you, the Defense Attorney certainly didn't do Ezra any favors by constantly objecting. All it's going to do is make to Prosecution's Case even stronger, and make Ezra more and more unlikeable. I mean here's a girl (boy) who appears to have all of the symptoms of severe BPD (yes, I know not all people with it are the same). She absolutely hates having Jason away from her. She obviously is a professional victim, and I'm sure she feels that people just don't understand her (as evidenced by her diary entries). She feels she is brilliant, endlessly intellectual, empathetic, artistic, compassionate, an old soul, and everyone is the problem because they don't see her that way (like Jodi Arias). Even though Jason is doing everything for her, she probably doesn't see it that way. Why won't he just do what she wants? Why won't he just give up his friends and stay with her? And a million other small things. He had to go away on business, which I'm sure she resented. Like many people with PTSD or BPD, who are also Machiavellian, she is extremely manipulative and calculating. He probably was late responding to a comment, or she was convinced he was cheating on her, so she split him. (splitting is extremely common). He had hurt her and now she was going to hurt him, so she called him and said she was moving out. He probably didn't respond with what she thought he would say, so she's going to get back at him, and sleeps with his friend. That will teach him. But then after she's done it, she panics. When he comes home, and he doesn't say she can move back in, now she really DOES have a problem. So she blames John. But that isn't enough for jason. This isn't Middle School. She thinks it will all blow over, because she is 20, and mentally ill, he is 33. If John REALLY attacked her, they need to go to the police! Now Jason doesn't know what to think, and she is REALLY in a bind. So she ropes in Alex, the guy who will help everyone to back her up. But Alex won't lie. She thinks if she sleeps with him, then she'll have a place to stay, until she can convince Jason. But Jason isn't convinced, and Alex won't lie. So, she splits Jason once again, and is with Alex. If Jason REALLY loved her, he'd believe her. But none of it works. And with the incident on the bathroom wall, her mask slips. She realizes she may not get him back this time and she suffers Narcissistic injury, so all bets are off. She realizes her only hope (in her mind) is if Alex is erased. Then there will be noone to counter her story, and Jason will love her. She just isn't living in the world of reality. In fact, if you watch her face when he takes the stand, instead of looking ashamed, embarrassed, guilty, she is looking at him like a 14 year old. She has lovesick eyes and is staring at him with this teen age (my first love) kind of face. She is fixing her blazer, and has this demure ingenue expression. She still doesn't get it. She still doesn't understand that he isn't going to date the murderer of his friend. But since she doesn't experience the feelings a neurotypical person would, she really can't grasp it. It really is a tragedy on all sides.

Ezra was irresponsible and made lots of bad decisions and then had the gall to be hurt when people didn't swoop in and save the day. Jason actually took good care of her and footed the bill for a while. Example, she blew her money for school on material things, art supplies, booze, night's out. So she was kicked out of school. She was living with her parents and they footed the bill as long as she mentained her grades at school. Obviously she didn't and they kicked her out because of it. So that left Jason to care of her, because according to her she was depressed and her school, parents didn't care. Then she goes and cheats on Jason and later claims the man she cheated with raped her and started a false rape investigation. She also cheats with Alex who was Jason's friend. Now starts the stories of both these men taking advantage of her but its obvious she's lying. Now her life is spiralling out of control buts its not her fault, she's not responsible for anything and she expects Jason to always take care of her but he'd figured out the lies and he had enough. So there goes jason. Ezra is a narcissistic and a pathological who made choic after choice were she did what felt good and now it's all caught up to her no one wants her around. She's filled with rage and directs it at Alex. She invents situations so Jason will come save her and she needs a way to get him back. That day when Jason called police because her behaviour was concerning, police watched her drive off with Alex knowing this. Ezra had Jason and police there she could have chosen not to do this but she chose her wants and feelings again. She's going to confront Alex no matter what and now she's going to do life in prison and for what. She's selfish and its about time she was held accountable.

I do think it’s weird these men in their 30s are interested in a 19 year old. I realize Ezra tried to come off as very mature and sophisticated so maybe she was able to make them feel like she was older than she really was..or maybe they’re just immature men for their age.
No matter how professional someone may be, this long drawn out experience no doubt took a toll on him. The details of this case would throw anyone for a loop. This is a man who loved her and now he's hearing a lot of intimate things about her for the first time. Just thinking about what she did had to freak him out.
@@lauracook8203 You’re right I’m sure it took a toll on him and freaked him out! But he was/is many years her senior, well in his 30’s by now! I guess I felt he would have viewed her deceit and criminal behaviour from a more mature perspective especially considering his training as a medic in the defence force!
Have you ever worked in the medical field? I’ve met a lot of doctors who are sharp at their jobs but clueless when it comes to interpersonal relationships.
Will you upload Jason's interview about how Ezra wearing the green sweater he gave her in court and flirted with him made him uncomfortable? If it's possible without copyright issue...
Not a matter of legally not a child. However, there is something to be said about the fact that our brains are still developing into our mid 20’s. And their is all sorts of maturity in life that you kinda reach… emotional maturity, financial maturity, and OH I don’t know maybe even some self awareness 🙃
to his credit that Q was confusing. couldn't tell if they were asking place of birth, place he works out of, where he was primarily based as an adult or what.
"If you see something, say nothing and drink to forget" is a quote by Welcome to Nightvale, lol! "I have a way with words" 🙄 Nothing about her is genuine!
It's really odd that he didn't even ask how old she was. How are you fucking someone and not even checking on that? If someone looks in their 20s, you need to ask.
Totally agree with you there and I got annoyed watching the dreading videos about this case because he totally just accepted his lame excuse for not knowing her age. I don’t buy it. He knew she was a kid, he just chose to overlook it.
She wasn't a kid...she was 19. Most people at that point in their life are getting their $%!t together. She was definitely a child when it comes to intellect and motivation but certainly not chronological age.
I know a lot of people in the comments keep taking pot shots at John; that he's conceited, arrogant, an aging coffee bar hipster, who rides a bike. Those are all hobbies, habits, or mannerisms. When you look beneath that at who he actually is, based on his behavior and how he treats people, I think he'd be a good, loyal friend to have.
I rarely come across people who are in their 30s or older who are regularly asking how old each other are. It's more common for me to be asked my DOB than my age. On occasion, I have to think about it for a second. I'm not proud of this lol but for that reason I don't find someone else taking a second to contemplate their exact age to be odd. I'm ambivalent towards this witness so I take no issue with anyone's personal opinion towards him either way. Just giving practical input over the age thing specifically.
Yeah I totally get that but this dude seemed really off in a lot of ways. He also didn’t even know where he’s from LOL. I can tell her was really nervous so maybe that was why? But even after thinking you can tell he wasn’t confident with the age he gave LOL. Also makes me thinks that he lies to women about his real age like many men in their 30s and 40s who chase young girls instead of women their own age. They’re rarely honest about their age
It is normal. I sometimes forget my own age, all i know is that the year of my birth and just do the math from there. Edit: ohhh i just saw your other comment and, well maybe it is plausible that that maybe be the reason he forgets his age. It is hard to track if you say you are 23/27/28/26/29/30 to different people.
He's obviously distancing himself from the fact that he was 15 years older than her. While age doesn't have to be an issue .. it most certainly is when you are a 34 yr old man and you are involved with a 19 yr old.
