The US Air Force F-16 Viper Demonstration Team performs a non-aerobatic mini-demo during the Thursday night airshow at EAA AirVenture 2021 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. After the demo portion, the F-16 joined in formation with a Curtiss P-40 Warhawk to perform the USAF Heritage Flight.

It's always a beautiful sight...A vintage WWII fighter and a current F-16 in formation. I've seen a B17 flying formation with a B-52. Awesome.

Wow that paint scheme has got to be one of the coolest I have seen. THE VIPER 4:38 Check out the close encounter with the bird. Appears the bird got stunned and dropped.

No jet sounds like a SpaceX launch. A rocket produces a noise that sounds like a series of bombs blowing up or a firework show finale. A fighter jet is a thundering crackle

The F-18 from Oceana does the twilight heritage flight in front ocean views in September so if anyone hasn’t been to the Jet base in Va Beach airshow well I’ve been looking forward to this after last year when no one could come because of the academic but now it’s on for the real deal

I was not aware (as many others) that the last version of the P-40 was powered by a Packard built Merlin V12..... All pervious models used an Allison V12 (as did the P-38's)

It had the markings of the AVF Flying Tigers, markings were that of China prior to the U.S. entering world war 2.

Miss going to airshows. Thunder Over Michigan for a second straight year is keeping up with their insane and ridiculous pricing. Tickets were 25-30$ person for many, many years. Now 500$ for me and my wife to see the f16 and blue angels. Thats ridiculous. Have to resort watching them for free at practice

So left panel f16 I see main power on 2. Two switches right 👍 set norm 3. Near yellow cabin bar this duvelacy switch and pull yellow lever for cabin close and pressure lock righty ho ......correct sir Paul Wright how's the XJ jaguar 🐆 good 👍 the red one still have? Ok moving on with start up procedure after awhile we turn the turbo fan to wind up to 5000 or 6000 rpm and hit the turbine ignition yes so then it runs on momentum burn no spark plugs or magneto right correct 💯

It did briefly go super sonic over the far end of the show line during the Thursday day show performance. Sadly it wasn't audible from where we were

No, that is the sound of the wall of fire pyro exploding juuuust out of frame. We weren't expecting it so soon in the demo so we missed it :( No sonic booms in this video!
