LongShot, that's so awesome that you used an F-16 with the tail flash of my former unit, the 132FW. I was a maintainer for over 23-years, it's nice to see one of the jets I used to work on doing what it was meant to do.
Agreed ! Look I know GS is a great pilot, but LongShot has him in more than one category believe me ( especially the cinematography) The difference in subs just don’t make sense !
Great vid Longshot! Pity it ended the way it did. The F-16 realy is hampered by not having as many hardpoints that the bigger jets have so you cannot spam missiles nearly as much as the other guy.
God I love the F-16, I don’t care about all of its down sides, I don’t care how many times a flanker or F-22 will beat it in a dogfight, it’s by far my favorite jet. Thank you Longshot!! I always love watching your videos!
F-16 is a good and simple fighter As far as i know, F-16 was one of the most simplest jet to operate ever made and The first FBW jet in production, that's why one of its unofficial nickname is, The Electric Jet 😊
Very nice content, your cinematography is great. Nice attention to detailing the beauties of these jets as they soar towards the ground and above the silhouettes of those tree lines and of course the POV and close up shots were tip top.
I love your videos man. They are visually strong, have an interesting story and doesn't pick sides all the time. I find that liberating. It's like the proverbial box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get. :)
Yeah, but the Indians have the way upgraded variant of the Su-30. Meanwhile the Pakistanis have the way worse variant of the F-16 compared to the USAF F-16s. Edit: Why did I forgot the plural nouns 🗿
@@luongduc9119 Pakistan is no more relying on USA in terms of upgradation of F-16s. That's why Pakistan has aquired fighters from china, and plans to totally replace F-16s with J-10Cs and JF-17s Block 3 variants.

The way you dogde those missiles is outstanding 😁🤙 In terms of WVR, F-16 is a badass jet, but perhaps, to take down the flanker family, well BVR is a good option. That was REALLY cool, using the TGP- targeting pod That actually starts to help visualize why it's said aircraft who want to be sneaky can not use radar, and use FLIR/IRST/etc to watch and perform a intercept, all using infrared tech and weapons, without using radar so the other guy never knows they're there unless they look in their direction with radar You even saw his missile come off the rail and launch way before you picked up it's radar signals- talk about early warning! Hoping we eventually see a full stealth, sneak up on enemy opponent using Infrared tech only mission, and takeout - with any jet (since multiple have a pod or IRST option , etc)with infrared tech! For the end , i think your best bet would have been to stay in the deep ridges, and force him to chase you aroudn them LOW, so there'd be a high chance a Fox 2 would hit the ground ,etc- it's cheesy, but you had fired a missile when he hadn't so yeah, he didn't shoot his as soon likely...
I love to watching Longshot and his dude Growling Sidewinder. They never trying to be unbeaten. They mostly try to handle with difficult situations. 👏👏👏
That was sick. Dogfight happened largely because of the terrain which I maintain is going to be the cause for 90% of dogfights, the other 9% would likely be due to an accidental merge or something maybe stealth v stealth. Last maybe 1% would be due to even skill level. Just realistically the first fighter to go Winchester on Fox 3’s is gonna turn tail and run. Still so cool to see an organic BVR to BFM transition, you don’t see those every day.
Great video Longshot! I have been checking youtube every day now for your next video and tonight I felt, its Saturday, I am sure he has uploaded a new video and you had. I had to watch it before I go to bed - its 01.14 am here right now. Also I am loving the BVR fight! I am rubbish at it myselfe as I am either way too defensive or too agressive so I end up running away or dying....
Wow! Heluva fight! Kudos to Chris. That's about the best use of a Flanker I have ever seen. I felt your pain LS as the ending became inevitable...but I was pulling for you nonetheless!
Real world an Aim120 can be guided via Awacs datalink, is this modelled in DCS or is it only the launch aircraft that can use its radar for remote guidance?
Why in hell he is firing in RWS mode? Arent those 77s? Or its a pre recorded sound? Makes nonsense to use RWS in a basic 1v1 scenario with no other elements around at 40 miles
Beautiful cinematics man, as well as serious show of technical skills from both pilots. Great vid my man. Pretty exciting for BVR bro. That was a hard f'n fight. Even tho you ate that missile, that might be one of my favorite fights that you've put on killer!
I was amazed how that last Fox 3 fired at you was so ineffective at low altitudes. Based on the looks of it, the missile didn't have the momentum (turning with you but way too slow to close distance) but it was good for make you run out of CM. It was also a surprise to me that the Flanker only did that cobra nose poiting sh*t after a couple of one circle passes. Such moves are usually made at merge when there's still energy to try it.
Can't win 'em all especially when it takes a split second for things to go wrong. A nail-biter to the end. Another good one, LS and kudos to Chris, great flying!
