F/A-18 Hornet became the nation’s first all-weather fighter and attack aircraft and was designed for traditional strike applications such as interdiction and close air support without compromising its fighter capabilities. The F/A-18 A-D is employed in Marine Corps fighter attack squadrons, U.S. Navy and Marine Corps Reserve squadrons, the Navy Flight Demonstration Team (Blue Angles), and various other fleet support roles.
Military performers include the United States Air Force Thunderbirds, the United States Army Golden Knights, the United States Coast Guard Search and Rescue Demonstration, United States Marine Corps F-35B DEMO Team and the United States Navy Growler Legacy Team. Civilian performances will include the American Airpower Museum Warbirds, Civil Air Patrol, David Windmiller, Folds of Honor Biplane with Ed Hamill, Michael Goulian, Skytypers, Farmingdale State College Flying Rams, and Warbird Thunder Airshows.
