Dude, I play a ton of Italy. The F-104S ASA is one of my most played vehicles. I just believe it's more fair for EVERYONE to get it at once, just like the F-16, F-104, etc. Stuff like the Germans having to wait to get their MiG-23 or MiG-29, or the Italians getting the F-84G and AV-8B first shouldn't happen IMO.

You might wanna get the AV-8A instead. Having no flares and mid flight performance is quite rough at 9.7 where you will be facing R-60s

You still get dragged to 12.3 every game, lucky if you get a 11.3 game you're able to power creep on pretty much every1 and because the aircraft doesn't have afterburner IR missiles have a hard time trying to hit u so if you ever get a 11.3 downtier, make sure to power creep on every1 because thats like 1 out of 20 games.

Don't know what crack you're smoking, US tech tree nets Gaijin the most money. Top tier matches are basically whoever has more F16Cs on their team wins.

It will not, but what I'm concerned about is how the br's will work. Depending on the what model Gaijin decide to add, the R-77 will most likely be the better missile than the AIM-120 at medium-high altitudes and closer ranges, but the AIM-120 will beat the R-77 at low alt, which is where it will be used 90% of the time (talking about range btw). Now with the BR's, granted you don't get downtiered basically at all at top tier, but you get uptiered a fair bit at 11.3, I wonder how MiG-23's and brainless F-4S players will cope when having to go against active radar homing missiles. Even the F16A's and earlier 29's the advantage of just going cold after shooting is what they can't do, basically meaning that planes with fox3's are going to win most engagements.

​@@alucidrustthe only good versions of the R-77 are the 77-1 and 77M. Both of which are very modern and equivalent to the 120C-5/C-7 at the very least. The standard 77 is absolutely abysmal, even if launched from altitude with significant speed. The fence like rear fins absolutely murder it's range. Good maneuverability but that's it.

What does that have to do with my point at all, my point is that knowing gaijin they will likely give the r77 to the mig 29 and the yak 141 while the us tree is most likely to probably only get it on a harrier

There's no restriction for heli pad rearming. You could rearm a B-29 if you somehow managed to land it.

I was one of the F-104S-ASA enjoyers back last year, having AIM-9Ls before anyone else did was hilarious. That was also back when the Aspide was 35Gs instead of 25... those were the days! I'm not a "US Main" if that's what you think BTW, the ASA is actually one of my most played, along with stuff like the Kfir and MiG-29.
