LIGHTNING meets our signature THUNDER in the amazing F-35A/B/C LIGHTNING II by IndiaFoxtEcho! Listen to a work-in-progress demonstration of how we've been able to do what no one has done before in Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The audio featured in this coming update to the IFE F-35 was captured during the 2022 Field of Flight Airshow in Battle Creek, during three days of airshows and in close proximity to both the A and C variants of the F-35. Meticulously edited and integrated into a fully dynamic Wwise audio package. Flyby audio is affected by speed, afterburner status, throttle setting, and much more... and yes, we even have the mighty "howl" modeled as well, from varying distances!
Even though flyby cameras are tricky, they are possible, and a lot of folks love using them, myself included, for airshows and just enjoying the sights and sounds of a flight simulator.
