A short video demonstrating cold start and STO of the IndiaFoxtEcho F-35 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. No commentary, no UI Tags: F-35 F35 Microsoft Flight Simulator VTOL STO STOL Vertical Take off startup
What’s crazy is I was stationed in Beaufort and was with VMFAT-501 for my first enlistment and I’ll be honest this is pretty accurate with the sounds and everything is almost on point
Modern planes are way more automated than you think. Look up pictures of new airliner cockpits and even the fancier general aviation planes as well. Everything's computer assisted.
Hello, thank you for this great movie, it's really great that Microsoft has such an advanced mod of F35, I just wish that the original mods of F35 and F22 would be provided for DCS as soon as possible, there is currently a mod with F22 quality for DCS It is not the original mod, which means the cabin is almost the same as the F22 cabin, but the display information is the same as the F15 display information, but Microsoft's F22 mod is much better.
It's very different to make simple mod without weapons, radar, stealth and other systems modelled vs modelling those systems in DCS, and it would be so OP in multiplayer it would be just boring. Too much classified stuff that would have to be guesstimated.
@@Randomcatontheinternet Yes, you are right, but anyway, I am looking forward to the advanced fighter mod for DCS, and I hope this will happen in the future, even though I don't have the right system to run DCS at the moment.
@@snwilliam6886 yes but I think they should rework the radars of most aircraft. I think it is weird that there seems to be no inconsistencies with the radar
So many salty dcs players. I own and enjoy the fc3 models and the tomcat in dcs so i understand msfs isnt very accurate but the person just recorded a video of them taking off and you're flaming them. Grow up honestly.
And it probably better because DCS doesn't even have f-35 full mod, it borrows from other aircraft about as much as this one, because you think the military just gives away F-35 secrets already. I play both sims. I meant DCS world doesn't have a good F-35, like one that you would call done, but I haven't tried the free one in DCS. Usually the free mods have troubles. F-22 in MSFS2020 is pretty fun too!
how come they can't just take this mod design and put it in dcs? I mean like I'm not computer wizard, but I've seen people do some incredible things in dcs with community mods.
Because there are too many people who will refuse anything that doesn't have 100% perfect everything. Sure, these are rare... But they have the megaphone
Well, It starts to be completely wrong from the second the IPP starts, but hey you get what you get I guess. Hell, the things even showing an image feed from a DAS sensor despite it none of them being turned on in the avionics power page, and absolutely none of this would be working without the INS aligned LOL... none of the fuel quantities are correct for 50% full tanks either, and the FCS page looks completely wrong. (F35 avionics guy at Hill)
There is a redundancy system I believe as well as a small separate screen. It isn't a standard touch screen like your phone. Also, I want to say the F35 has a helmet operations control which is an advanced generation from what they originally developed for the Apache. So you can essentially fly with just the helmet display.
There’s no HUD, it’s all in the helmet, but the traditional HUD symbology stays where you would expect it to be no matter where the pilot looks, while other information is displayed when the pilot looks elsewhere.
Haven’t played this game but I’m guessing for simplicity’s sake it’s designed to look like it’s just a regular old HUD, just without the glass hardware you’d normally have for a HUD.
