Definitely F-35 does not do any worthless circus tricks like sucks 30 and 35 do, but what i saw - is F-35 does maneuvers without significant loss of energy and speed - what does it mean?? F-35 is better for real combat, and sucks 30-35 are circus planes!! P.S. Did anyone see how often su27,30,35cks circus planes are falling down like a brick to recover velocity??
all these are worthless circus tricks theyre all still cool and show a lot of skill in the pilot but we are far past the point of having dogfights anymore, everything is BVR now and stealth is one of the main deciding factors, if you see the enemy before they see you, you've won
The upgrade, which the company is calling the F135 Growth Option 1.0, could be cut into the existing production line by the early 2020s, said Matthew Bromberg, president of Pratt & Whitney military engines. Pratt manufactures the F135 for all three F-35 models as well as aircraft purchased by international customers. On Wednesday, Pratt announced successful completion of performance testing of a demonstrator engine to reduce fuel burn that could lead to an upgrade of the F-135 engine, which powers the F-35 Lightning II fighter for the Air Force. The tests, which were conducted at Pratt’s Palm Beach County plant, demonstrated a 5 percent to 6 percent fuel burn improvement and 6 to 10 percent thrust increase, Pratt said.
the "can't climb, can't turn" statement is the biggest joke in the century. Trolls and bandwagoners are so silent now... oh wait, they begin to talk shits about the single-engine now... hahaha
I have seen below Алексей Журавлев mentioned "Mother Russia" When I here "Mother Russia" I remember Stalin and millions of people dying (now there is Putin - luckily does not have the power of Stalin or Hitler ) . I have been in Moscow there are few very wealthy people in the center of Moscow but if you take the underground you can see quality of the train and that people are actually poor. Sorry saying this. And do not forget Russia is indeed big but actually all of it is in the European area around Moscow and few another cities ( about 5 in numbers). Most of the rest is still nomadic people, ... some on horses. About aircraft I think Russia will not be able to catch-up with other Western countries in the next 100 years because of poor economy. Also sorry to say this, but times when pilot aimed the other aircraft in dogfight are gone. First see first shoot F-15 is a proven success and F-35 is the next gen. .
I've wondered for some time whether or not some ( or ALL) of the negative press was disinformation from the DoD in an attempt to, for among other reasons, convince China, Russia, etc., to NOT go down this technology road (later becoming potential equally matched competition). I've been a supporter of F-35 and perhaps even Pierre was in on the "gag"....
Pierre has been around for a long time. I remember him from the 1980s, when he was part of the "Reformers", a group that wanted only cheap and simple weapons in larger numbers. He opposed the F-15, which, at $20 mil, was 7 times more than the F-4, the aircraft it replaced. He got CBS News to call the F-15 a "turkey", obviously his words. Of course we now know the F-15 has never been shot down, with a 104-0 air-to-air record. He and his group opposed the Abrams tank, saying it was too complex and therefore would be unreliable. He said the turbine engine would be particularly prone to break-downs in the desert. And now we know the Abrams tank performed brilliantly in "Desert Storm". The list of bad predictions from the "Reformers", is long, but they just won't die.
777Outrigger: "F-15 has never been shot down" Flanker fury: How the Sukhois blanked the Typhoons 12-0 in British skies. Cope India 04 made headlines worldwide when Indian pilots flying upgraded - but 30 year old - MiG-21s and the comparatively less advanced Su-30MKs defeated the USAF’s F-15 Eagles 9-1. Here’s what USAF Colonel Greg Newbech said after the exercise: “What we’ve seen in the last two weeks is the IAF can stand toe-to-toe with the best air force in the world. I pity the pilot who has to face the IAF and chances the day to underestimate him; because he won’t be going home." The following year, at Cope India 2005, the USAF deployed several F-16s. The results of the drills were much similar to those of the previous year, with Indian pilots able to win most of the engagements in their latest Su-30MKIs. Again, in 2008 at Exercise Red Flag held at Mountain Home AFB, known for its complex and realistic war gaming, not a single Su-30MKI fighter was 'shot down’ in close air combat missions. In 10-odd one-on-one engagements against USAF jets such as the F-15 and F-16, none of the Sukhois were even close to being shot down. You get the picture. The IAF Sukhois have consistently beaten western aircraft in a range of environments - Gwalior, California and now Britain in.rbth.com/blogs/stranger_than_fiction/2015/08/07/flanker-fury-how-the-sukhois-blanked-the-typhoons-12-0-in-british-skies_382281
Of course it does . The F35 can take off in a hover straight up. So you know it has way more than 1. You do not see it do this very often. But you can find it and see it. Most of the time you see it landing in a hover. At any rate. It has way more than enough power to go straight up.
The flight Software limits it to 7g Maneuvers, though towards the end it does go 90 degrees. Once the software is finished, and it is capable of normal 9G maneuvers, you're going to see some serious shit.
Sukhoi use 3D TVC. Lateral overload is always approximately equal to 0 - this is a feature all fighter jets from the first to the third generation, in accordance with the Russian classification. Russian fighter jets of fourth generation got super maneuverability - the ability to fly with lateral overload. In the US, even the fifth generation F-22 does not have this ability. Imagine that you are playing American game "Counter Strike" at the world Cup and someone broke your buttons A D. How much maneuverability will you lose? Someone will say - these buttons not play a big role, but will you be able to play with another champion on equal?
Alex K This babe has no TVN. However, it performed beautifully. Lets get your Sukhoi up there with this "meatball" and lets see who owns whom. My money is on the lightning.
This plane makes one sharp turn and then has to fly straight to regain it's energy. It can't do turn after turn like the typhoon. Nothing special really.

@@valenrn8657 that uploader is a fraud, he compares different parts of an aircraft's airshow. In one of his video he claimed that the f35 took off without afterburner whereas in fact it did a touch and go on the runway. I saw the full show of f35 in Paris and I'm telling you, the guy is a fake.
