The melody comes out nicely, which is very good. The description is also very good. You can even use it as lyrics and sing it along with this ballade, as least with the opening theme.
You could be ready for Ballade 1, perhaps start with that Or Op. 25 no. 6/11 Personally I find no 6 to be slightly easier, but most others would say 11
3 weeks, 2 hrs per day. This is my 4 week progress I spent only one extra week fixing some of the mistakes so it is not yet very good. I plan on uploading a better version.

imo if you work on exectuting cleaner pedalling it'll be perfect. but who am I to judge lol ! been practicing the piece for half a year on and off and still cant play half as good as ur 4 week progress lmao
Hi! Nice playing! However, I'd just recommend not rushing so much with learning... this piece shouldn't (in my opinion) be learnt as a whole in just 4 weeks. You can't really focus on aspects of the piece other than technical... for example, you use u. c. and sustain pedal a lot, which most likely indicates lack of control. Also I can see you don't really play the piece, you're just playing notes (or i hear it like this). That's why I'd recommend playing for example each part for a specific time period (2 weeks) until it is perfected, then moving to next part. This process takes way longer, but the result is MANY times better (again, in my opinion). - This is my way of learning pieces, not saying you have to do it like this!! Don't take this as me offending you, take it as good criticism, which is useful for everybody, I want to say you're still an extremely good pianist and I respect you for taking on such difficult piece!
Thank you for your advice. UC pedal is held the ENTIRE TIME because I live in an apartment, but also because it's difficult to play softly without pressing too hard or too little. I'm not sure if this is just my piano because I played the same piece on my school's grand piano, it never had this issue. And yes I do sight-read pieces really fast so I have more time to refine it, for example I even learned Liszt's sonata in b minor in 1 1/2 months. Results were slightly disappointing, even after several months of practicing the same piece I have not much improved. I figured it has to be the initialization of learning the piece, to begin with. Again thanks for telling me this, I already plan to upload a better version.
@@octopuszombie8744 That's nice to hear! I certainly believe some pianos have heavier/lighter keys, therefore it's difficult to switch all the time. However, the control of the keys is still very important, whether at home or performing at stage. And you really should (I think) learn to control the keys more (to play softer, as you said, without pressing too hard) - the result will be much more satisfying for you to play, and for the listeners! You can gain control (with every piano) many different ways: slow (musical practicing), singing (very important), rhytms, etc. (all in piano-pianissimo) - these methods may seem useless, but if used correctly, they're very effective! About U.C. - you may not see it like this, but me and a lot of other people believe that it makes musical contents of the person in the music disapper. My teacher always suggests to use u.c. only if written of very rarely, if REALLY needed. - I get that if you live in an apartment it's usually harder to please others!
