Tai Tzu Ying vs. Akane Yamaguchi has always been my dream matchup since 2016. Love both of their styles. Glad to finally see a great match from them ☺

TTY and AYG are great players. They are very kind and friendly. Both of them always respect other players even they lost.

Have watched this game twice already and, even though my fav player lost, I enjoyed the game all over again. It's a thrill to see such accomplished athletes leaving it all on the court, being fierce competitors and at the same time, being respectful of their opponents and the sport that has defined their lives. Very happy for Akane but Tai still has a lot to give. Looking forward to future matches between these two.

Excellent come back AY, and Congratulations :-) Not narrowing Akane's winner shots ..., but I feel luck was another important factor as I can see several basic shots of TTY went to nets, unfortunate for TTY and good for AY. Akane's stamina has improved a lot, excellent net coverage, sharp shots ... very focused ... all hard work paid off ! One week rest for both, all top seeds need it badly. Hope to see excellent matches at FUZHOU CHINA OPEN !

She give her all in this match. fatigues sets in but she is mentally strong.its now or never to get a chance to beat the best of the best. TTY was too tired from the other games! She did her best....hope she wins the final tour!! Akane was very calm, she played very well too!! Exciting!!

I am so happy I was able to learn to appreciate the sport of badminton at such a time like this. With so many great players that have elevated the game, each player bringing out the best of the other players.

Comparing to tai Tzu Ying, her semifinal match is more energy taxing and honestly i really though she will succumb to tiredness especially the way she played in this final. but damn what a match. by far this is the most entertaining match in the final (overall)

山口贏的辛苦 小戴輸了累慌慌 只能講小戴唯一重要部位在腰身段 這麼辛苦又累打完這一場 還是以身體為重本 原本這一場真希望他第一輪就放棄 看丹麥跟塞那那一場已經知道體力也差不多了 再拼法國就是硬拼 接下來下禮拜後又連續兩場 覺得挑香港那場洽當 雖中國大師賽是750但一禮拜體力恢復更本不夠!

Tty Exhausted the whole year run . But full credits to Yamaguchi played very well. Tty also underestimated Yamaguchi slightly and many unforced error into the net. She should come back stronger

Apparently,TTY was tired in this game. Not surprisingly,she lost the game to her opponent who is short but moves fast on court. However, TTY will come back stronger and win the 9th title to break a record.

Marin, Chen Yufei, PV Sindhu, Sung Ji Hyun, Saina Nehwal, Okuhara.... only get 30% chance to find the way to beat TTY....
