F-Zero GX Unleashed Run: • F-Zero GX Unleashed (v... this is barely faster than my previous GP run with BH but at least the quality is much better now. i'm so close to having every ship in HD that i'll try to do the last few ones soon.
@@yoshineitor Pretty sure tapping A is a legit technique in 2D F-Zero games. It can drift and corner well in the gba games, so it's very good in the gba. Although Night Thunder is the preferred choice over Blood Hawk.
Just remake GX. Make the stats accurate, nerf the Fat Shark's acceleration, give the Space Angler a better acceleration or speed, do the same to the Dark Schneider, add the cars from GP Legend, tone down the ai difficulty a little bit, add some new courses and make it online multiplayer! That's what they need to do
Strangely, I can play F-Zero X just fine, even on Master...but F-Zero GX just kicks my ass at any degree. I gave up on it after 30 hours of frustration and a broken Gamecube controller. This was just downright amazing to watch though. Props to you for the dedication. :)
Midnavi well the A.I in GX's master mode is MUCH more unforgiving and ruthless than the A.I. in X Not to mention the tracks in this game are designed to kill you The margin for error in GX is MUCH much slimmer than what it used to be in X
Okay, I get Blood Hawk having bad handling, that's kind of a chronic weakness of this machine. But I wonder why they gave it terrible top speed as well? And the boost _could_ be a bit more powerful, it feels more like a B or C in execution. The stats really lie to you in this game, lol You did awesome on this play through regardless, there's some serious skill here.
I remember playing this game years ago with my brother and cousin, we would use the machines we ourselves build in the creator and I always made blood falcon my driver
Huh? Is that our intrepid bounty hunter? Nope, merely his clone in a different car, the Blood Hawk. This one is... awkward. I find the design to be not very creative but the red and yellow are a cool combo. It's supposed to be the polar opposite of the Blue Falcon and that's definitely true. The acceleration is high and the top speed is low. Still faster than the Silver Rat. This thing is a pain to handle as it will start slipping if another machine just slightly taps you. Boost is pretty powerful but not necessarily an A. People consider this thing to be the worst machine in GX, but it's still not as bad as the Wild Goose or Space Angler. Still not an easy machine to use but is capable of winning PRSLS on master.
@@DrewPicklesTheDark yes! Due to the different mechanics. You can abuse the acceleration and drift in X but not in GX. Still got nothing on numbers six and nineteen and in the same league as thirty-five
@@lmno567 I don't think you can actually die on Cylinder Knot except from falling below the starting platform. I've gotten some crazy air on the cylinder but never actually hit a kill plane (unlike F-Zero X where it happens all the goddamn time).
Rendering tricks. The devs rendered stuff that would be in the view of the camera and derendered stuff that isn't in view. Using tricks like that allowed them to save on processing power while having great visuals.
@@bigroaststyrone8135 Blue Falcon is actually one if the weakest machines in the game. Its saving Grace is that it unlike Silver Rat actually isnt Bad at performing the Major Techs like MTS-Chaining / MTRS But in terms of stats it's literally a step or two below every machine in the game and thats be design. It's the beginner Machine, designed to get you used to the game.
