You do realize that suspension settings have changed, right? Because you still use 11-1-11-9 type suspension settings like in the last game (I mean that your approach hasn't changed but game has changed). First two value is suspension stiffness settings which were the LAST two ones in previous game. And last two values are anti-roll bar settings which were in balance settings in previous game. In other words, what you set for first two values (11-1) were ride heights in previous game and that's why you still set them as 11-1 for maximum top speed. And your balance settings had never been like 11-9 in previous games. You generally tend to set rear anti-roll bar to 11 and that's what makes me think you misunderstood this year's setup. Please answer this one because at least one of us is really confused right now. I hope I could explain my point.
Jfc that lap was insane.. Have you put traction control and abs on to see of it makes you faster? I'm curious to know. And maybe it would be an interesting video idea, tc and abs off vs on? Thanks for the setups once again, I literally go on TT and look for you and completely copy your setup for each track xD
For me ABS off is about .4 seconds quicker than on. Traction on help especially in 2nd and 3rd gear corners but doesn't make a difference from 4th on up
Great vid, but i can't believe codemasters still after all these years haven't done anything about the handling (setup wise) of the cars. I mean, how on earth should you run a wing level of 1/1 or 2/1 on a medium downforce track like Catalunya. It's just not right. Wing levels should be like this; Low D/F: 1 - 3, Med D/F: 4 - 7, High D/F: 8 - 11.
Do these setups work during a 50% race? Or are they purely for hotlaps? Cause i feel like they suck when you're doing 50% races, the setup just looks awful for that. Also i noticed you run the same suspension as 2014, didn't they completely change the setups this year? You cant run the same thing anymore, why are you still using 11-1? I tried your setup then i tried Araava's and his just felt so much better especially for a 50% race.
Kitty Kat They feel pretty nice for me! And I've played with the settings quite a lot as I know they're different, but the only thing that feels noticeably different is the wing settings and how I drive, the rest doesn't really impact on it at all for me!
