Did you notice that despite outqualifying Charles Ben lost the rivalry update after the qualifying 2:1 because Charles had a faster lap? This is really dumb because in Q1 and Q2 you don't push on if you're safe.

The problem is not the AI driving slow. The problem is that you don't warm up your tyres😂

He's saying the AI driving slow allows his tyres to cool too much. Which isn't quite true, they'd still be cold even if the AI went slightly faster. The odd thing though is that the AI don't appear to be aggressively warming their tyres.

Just how many damn times have I heard you complaining about your tires being useless when they're cold after a SC restart? Every time you say "Oh well, better think about heating tires next time SC comes" and then you NEVER. DO. IT. Apart from that and your Qualifying blunder it's the best F1 content on RU-vid.

I know, just swerve around back and forth under the entire yellow flag and drive hard into tight corners in a lower gear to keep heat in the tires. I suck at this game (Play on 102 difficulty), but at least I figured out that I need to keep heat in the tires after I made the mistake of letting them get cold a few times.

A tipp for the freezes. Check your autostart settings in the task manager. Maybe you have something running in the background hogging cpu cycles or something.

What I used to do to combat things like screen freeze was open the task manager and shut down all non-essential programs. There was a bit of trial and error with unrecognisable program names (shutting down the wrong program would shut down the pc), but when it worked it was amazing

i got rid of the screen freezes changing recoring device codec from nvenc to x264 and screen stop freezing... dunno was it that or just game update.

Ben, I think, you should always try to get through to Q3 on the harder tire. You can always change at the end of Q2, if it isn't going to be good enough...

Is anyone else that's doing the 100% long races have a problem where their car is getting under fueled by 5 to 15 laps for example when I was doing the Spanish GP (66 laps) I could only put in a maximum of 51.8 Laps of fuel

almost impossible to warm tires during safety car. The AI limits/caps your throttle so you can't spin up the rears a bit

Dude you have to keep warm the tyres to ~90° under safety car then when the AI go slow the tyres still stay warm enough for good grip

If you keep on getting screen freezes, try this: 1. Disable windows auto driver update and reinstall the gpu driver 2. Check your GPU temps 3. Reseat your GPU and the pcie 4. Clean your PC

Can someone explain to me the tyre rules of 2018? Do the top 10 in qualifying have to use a certain compound of tyre? And does that change when they qualify on a harder compound? Or is it that you start the race on the tyre you used in qualifying?

If u make it to Q3 u have to start on the tyres u used in Q2, if u didn't make ut to Q2 u can start with any tyres
