You seriously need to stop letting the engine get to 12000 RPM at the start, you will get a much better getaway if you keep it below 11000 RPM.

If you pitted at lap 30-31 and put literally ANY tires you would of probably won that race..

Well who would have guessed the tires would blow out with 99% wear..... nah don't worry about it go for another lap.....

You probably have safety cars off, game had them off automatically for me for some reason.

Sometimes i just cringed to see Ben forced himself to not pits just to win an unwinnable race.

I think tyres for normal conditions would also have worked one lap before they popped

Ben, try using less revs when launching. That's maybe why you're getting so much wheelspin, i saw that TRL Limitless used low revs and got away real nice.

Ben pulled a Kimi Raikkonen 2005 Nurburgring. He should’ve called “Box this lap” and opted for dries manually and done a Jenson Button 2012.

You could have pitted on the same time as the AI, came out in about 5th and because your Renault is superior on the inters you would have caught up to LeClerc and Bottas and won the race.

Season 2 is crazy. I spent the entire 1st season doing the department efficiency done so no upgrades, Haas became the best team, i am now on round 12 season 2 and i still havent caought up to them😂 Love it

Exactly the opposite happened to me in Brazil. It must be a bug. I had soft tyres on, Jeff said the rain is coming in 5 minutes, it came in 10-15 minutes and even after the rain came the slick tyres were better... It was a solid last place for me with Toro Rosso... THANKS JEFF!

You get so much wheelspin bc you’re over the optimal rpm’s, i’ve had that same problem. Try to keep it in optimal revs (when the letters are bright white) and there should be less wheelspin :) Another great Video! Thanks for putting them out so often! Ben, try to upgrade all the ERS, I just had the ultimate upgrade done. I drove the Austrian GP (season 2) with ERS high and Hotlap mode only. The return you get from braking is insane!!

I had a similar situation recently, I pitted for softs before everyone else but instead of track not drying on my end. The inters on the AI were just as fast as me on the mediums so that was weird

I'm gonna be honest, that LeClerc v Bottas championship fight is fucking insane. I've been paying attention to it the past few races, and it's crazy. Next race will literally decide the championship, and either of them could win or lose it by coming first and second.

Sometimes forcing the strategy yourself makes all the difference and you could just trundle around the track on dries when it’s wet and then push when it dries out to pass everyone

Season 2 is insane for development and my god the car feels insane, the car has everything (Downforce is crazy, power and getting through gears is nuts, fuel and ERS are soooo much easier to manage). Multiple seconds improvement from Season 1 beginning to Season 2 ending. I maxed out the McLaren by Season 3 Round 5

i don't understand. if you have 10 laps to go and it's not drying out fast enough, surely stopping for new inters will see you through to the end cause the track is drying to slowly. made no sense to stay out.

Hadn't been playing for a few weeks, but nothing really changed but felt comfortable and sharp as ever behind the wheel. But I lost focus on my fuel mix so ran on regular too long and when I realized there wasn't enough laps to avoid running empty before the finish line, but I did my best and hit low fuel mode late enough to basically roll over the finish the last 200 meters and got second place behind my teammate. My lack of attention cost me a perfect season. Oh well, maybe next season. Btw that's why I always go in as late as possible to avoid getting trapped in the pit lane. Especially when there's a train behind me. Damn, his fate in the track to dry up sabotaged his race. I learned not to trust the game back in F1 2015, even if the track would've dried as soon as he's out on a new set of inters, and will wear out faster he would've at least finished the race without worries and managed a higher finish position. So cudos for staying out but I would've gone in for a new set of inters... For better or worse. Rather at that point assume the track remains more wet than dry to the finish than not.

Bewildering why you didn't pit before the puncture. How many places did that cost you? Being stubborn should never cost you places.
