What would make the game better is brining back classic cars and also add classic circuits like Malaysia, Indianapolis, Hockenheim, the alternant Bahrain from 2020 and Turkey.
If only codemasters put the same amount of effort in updating its old tracks instead of only doing the new ones. Did we really need an updated Jeddah or qatar? Monza, Mexico, Brazil, Hungary chicane kerbs are all outdated and the lists goes on and on
@@infinitysynthesis Thats a shame, but then again, his character model is already in the games, and Nico was already an Icon before. I dont see why they cant add either of them as Icons.
Wrong. They can't update F1 23 as their licensing has expired for it. F1 and the teams only allow them to have 1 year access to it before changing it. This is why we get yearly releases
@@fkez0510 I also heard that everyone wants classic cars but their licence exipired after 2019 thats why they havent been allowed to add them back into the game. Its a shame
But if they update everything at once they'll have to actually work hard to come up with new stuff for the next game. Better take your time with it since simps will buy no matter what.
@@vortexluigirosalina5557 it's mostly the kerbs and an access road at T10. The current track model is from the *2014* race when the circuit was rebuilt
And I have the feeling that Montmeló will still not being updated... Despite the track not only changed the tower in 2023 or the podium a couple of years ago.. They are changing completely the paddock and there is a new bridge that will be used as a reference at the brake point in turn 10
@@CJ-uh8bk if it is ever added, they would never mention it right now, but are more likely to talk about/tease a track dlc or free update added later in the games lifecycle
i think it's a visual glitch with the spec car and night races. For some reason the official matte liveries all appear glossy. This glitch has existed since f1 22
I think F1 games have the best immersion of all racing games with those little cutscenes and animations. Alot of racing games sleep on this topic and its only boring menu clicking. Ofc the racing is the heart and main focus of every game but its nice to see something off track aswell.
@@ark14700 when new cutscenes are a big enough change for them to include in their 5 minute gameplay deep dive video something is seriously wrong with the devs… idt anyone is really complaining about new cutscenes, just that the effort could have been better spent elsewhere tbh
@@ark14700I know they are and I’m not saying their not but if you’re gonna do that then you might as well make the game unique instead of it basically being a £70 dlc to f1 23
Although it is no longer raced as a season track, I would like to have a virtual Korean character in Yeongam, Korea's only F1 circuit, and in career mode. I would also like the face to be expressed as a Korean. It has a huge impact on immersion. plz
Are there really not the resources to update every circuit to how it is irl? Seems like saying “only fan favourite” circuits are updated is them just saying they couldn’t be arsed doing them all
We are talking about 2 to 3 persons and a workload of about 6 to 8 days. It is a lot more work than just cosmetics. The invisible track-model that we are driving on with all the bumps have to be tweaked as well, new registration zones for audio Playbacks habe to be added and or tweaked, the AI racing lines habe to be adjusted and balanced. Design wise not all tracks can or should be 1:1 to real life regarding off track environments because of performance. The reason why "thEre aRe tReEEs that should not be tHeRe!" is to block view to infinity or low quality assets to keep the frame rates as high as possible. Not everyone can afford a 4090 RTX to handle full blown track environments in a mile radius around the track. And then again you should focus on racing not looking at environments that you see for like 1-2 seconds per round. The car models take a lot of real estate regarding crafic card performance as well. It is not as easy as some people want it to believe...
@@florianrueger I don’t care about the trees, there’s updates to tracks (like Brazil, Mexico, Canada, etc) that will actually affect gameplay, such as missing/updated curbs, which have been implemented irl in mid 2010s but have never been updated in the games. Personally, I feel that for paying a decent amount every year the minimum is the circuits themselves are all accurate.
Sry I meant everything else I described will be additional workload after making the model changes which all are complex in the sense of making sure everything works all the time and AI behavior remains the same/is improved. The point I was making was from a year to year basis often times it's like "if it ain't broke don't fix it". You have a working track to race on priorities often times are shifted to new or actually broken things. If the dev team had like a 2 year span, a lot more progress would be possible. I'm totally with you about not wanting to spend 70 dollars/euros per year. I'd rather skip every 1 to 2 years. Just saying there is only so much you can update in one year. And I think the did a lot of work. Hope it will pay out for us players of course, but I am looking forward to it. 🙂
Fia sanctioned formula 3 isn’t much of a need in career as it’s a 10 season career and if you do have it, it would only make it 8 to 7 seasons in F1. Plus then they would have to update F3 and you know they can’t even complete the current F2 season when the game releases. Do you really wish for them to somehow make more stuff to update every game by redirecting more resources to a season most players won’t do?
@@restofman6403 well they do put more than ten season, its a game after all, and also once you play f2 you have not the possibility to stay in f2 if you want it it is ridiculous it is a game !
No footage of a crash. Guessing no changes to the crash physics. No debris of carbon shards. Just again wings coming apart in giant pieces and flopping around. Yet wanna say "more realism" and "authentic experiences". Have you seen a real race crash?
Would’ve been nice if they also had our names & number on the race suit & the car, especially for the AI drivers (including Icons) that would switch to another team
On the car for the last few maybe more years has always had our selected number on the car. Also on the race suit there is no representation of our number on real drivers either. Just a name at the most.
They have enough audio from interviews and races that they could generate every driver's voice with 98% accuracy. But that takes time, money, and talent. It is easier to just cut and paste audio clips lol
Yeah, one track that has still to be updatet is Mexico. The Layout is just false in the Esses, especially at the end. In real life, the corners are much tighter and not almost full speed
Please add more camera bounce and blur effects on the cockpit camera view. It just looks so smooth, steady and doesnt reflect the real feel of speed, bumps, corners, turning g forces... the driver's head should move more. Other than this im happy with how the F1 24 looks. Cheers
@@superisaac3303 how would we even know? All the crying we hear about the game could be just a noisy minority, while the majority just gets on with it and plays the game and enjoys it. Having said that, while I don’t like or agree with the seeming hatred towards the F1 games by some, a lot of the criticisms are well deserved and it appears that Codemasters does take some of it onboard and makes some changes so it is worthwhile to criticise.
I wonder if they have the voice audios for the legend drivers, that'd be great. Be good to use them for a whole season outside career and my team modes 😊
its literally beginning on the 8th, whats wrong with you... Also, if theres no content, just cancel your pre-order. That, or don't complain. They gave you a choice...
