We used to come across this in karting all the time kid couldn’t drive for crap but DAD had heaps of money and could afford to buy him a new go-kart jazzy new tyres new engines at every race meeting. In some cases daddy would even buy the sport effectively controllingthe supply of engines and tires to everybody manipulating the series to look after junior and his best mate. Well those of us who actually had some talent but just didn’t have the money could drive them on a good day but just couldn’t afford to keep buying the parts and tyres and things.

I am sure Sargeant is leaving at the end of this season, if not before. Then again, he doesn't have a rich dad who foots the team's bill. If dad has any dignity he should replace his son.

He carries himself like the spoiled kid of a billionaire. Lacking in personality and it just drips from him during interviews. Ugh.

Although I'm not a Stroll fan, I do credit him with having talent, as is evidenced by his success in the lower formulas. But, having been born with a silver spoon in his mouth & never having to work really hard for anything in his life, he does not have the same hunger or motivation to win or succeed that most other drivers do. They had to fight their way through the lower formulas & have to consistently prove their value to retain their seats. Stroll does have moments of brilliance, but mostly, he's not invested in giving his best & even with the alleged feedback, he is not an asset to the team.

Not like this is anything new in f1.

That guy went from "Daddy, my pony is sick" to "Daddy, I broke the car" too fast.

My days of thinking Lance doesn't belong in F1 are certainly coming to a middle

I haven't seen this guys driving improve in the slightest, over the years. If anything I think he's actually getting marginally worse. Guys dead weight.

the only thing people need to remember is the only people that we should be comparing him to are the other drivers that pay for the team to exist, pay vs paid drivers, untill the russia invasion master spin was in his category and that only ended due to embargos

He always has the loook of a spoilt rich kid that spat his dummy oout because he's not winning at anything, so in interviews he just can't be bothered to even try, and that nerfing of Ric just summed up just the kind of person he is, which is not an F1 driver, get him out let the team progress and the sport will be all the better for it.

He is not that bad. He is still beating a lot of drivers and these are the best drivers in the World.

Lance was a talented F3 racer. But, so was Christian Horner. In his day, so was EJ. Lance should use Daddy's cash to matbe become a manager. It would save Lawrence a lot in repair bills. Also, Lance got pole but finished out of the points, or at least very low.

Alonso one of the goats is not that far ahead in qualifying, sometimes Stroll Qualifys ahead of Alonso. Stroll is not a bad driver on the 2024 grid, there are plenty worse drivers.

I don't know, not a fan of him, but Stroll can definitely drive an F1 better than I could. I don't get why there's a constant refusal to recognise that motorsport has always been a game where bigger wallets gets and keep you in. I don't think we'd be having this conversation if Stroll's connection to the team wasn't as public and his dad was funding his career quietly in the background or he managed to secure lucrative sponsorship deals himself, but was racing as he is now. We'd all recognise this current ability, but we'd meme him and move on. Hypothetically, even though Sainz Jr is a whole different level to Stroll, if we found he only got the Audi seat due to Sainz Sr's connections at Audi post Dakar campaigns. Would we care?

I have seen nothing but hate for stroll since the incident in the last race with Ricciardo and it’s laughable what these formula 1 Chanels are saying lmfao. If you want to bash on people then there are 10 worse drivers Yuki Tsunoda, Nico Hulkenberg, Kevin Magnussen, Alex Albon, Esteban Ocon, Guanyu Zhou, Daniel Ricciardo, Pierre Gasly, Valtteri Bottas, and Logan Sargeant that are ranked below Lance. Why don't you do positive videos instead of bashing someone you don't know. You do it for click views and that's lame. Nothing to see here, move along...
