@@somebody-es8vx is it true that both Rosberg and Hamilton raced in the 2016 Mercedes (equal machinery by the way) and Rosberg ended up winning the championship?
One thing that's quite unknown about Alex Wurz is that he's also very much responsible for the introduction of the Halo and general Driver Safety measures. Furthermore, he has opened a Driver Safety School in Austria and is about to design his first full F1 Track
Damn, you must not watch much racing because I'm 31 and I'm on like ¿12? already · Indycar/CART = Greg Moore (first one, I was a week from turning 8), Dan Wheldon, Justin Wilson and also saw the one that screwed up Robert Wickens · F1 = Jules Bianchi and also saw the ones in the early 2000s where marshalls got killed · MotoGp = Daijiro Kato (imagine waking up at like 3:30 or so on a Sunday for that!), Shoya Tomizawa, Marco Simoncelli and Jason Dupasquier (I missed Salom's) · WorldSSP = Craig Jones and Andrea Antonelli · Road racing = Malachi Mitchell-Thomas (literally 2nd year of watching the NW200 live) and Dan Hegarty · FIA WEC = Allan Simonsen
To be fair, most of those who go to Stock Car Brasil are Brazilian as well. While Endurance Racing (WEC & IMSA) is entering a new golden age with many manufacturers coming in and quality drivers (Toyota, Ferrari, Porsche, Peugeot, Cadillac, etc) The category is arguably the most exciting one to be in right now.
Piquet Jr. won the first FE championship when all the cars were equal. Unfortunately for him, when the teams were allowed to make their own cars for the next season, and all others after, his team became a perennial backmarker.
Zsolt Baumgartner and Patrick Friesacher are the official F1 Experience (two-seater VIP car) drivers as the cars are run by Paul Stoddard. As far as I know they are generic Minardis from the early 2000s with V10s - so they are obviously fan favourites for the sound as they drive around with them on Thursdays and Fridays.
I love the constant attacks to Jos Verstappen. He truly deserves that reputation being a failed F1 drive whose best highlight was that one time his car burst into flames while Schumacher won the championship with the same car won the title.
As somebody that grew up playing NASCAR: The Game: Inside Line on my PS3, I only knew Scott Speed at the time because he was always the guy with the #95 car in 26th place or somewhere around that
Great Video, I Really Enjoyed. Great To See Many Drivers I Used To Watch Their Races. Especially The 90s Drivers. 30:43, 30:54, 30:58, 31:05, 31:08, 😍💖 That Guy Was My First Love. Teenage Crush. I Loved Him So Much When I Was Young, But It Begins Before 2000s, I Fell In Love With Him 90s. And I'm Still In Love With Him. Heinz Harald Frentzen. I'll Love Him Forever.
33:35 : He was sentenced to six months in prison, but his sentence was suspended. In order to avoid jail, he teached racing. So basically, he didn't do any prison time.
Lucky Luciano really was lucky at Spa in 2001. Without a sizable tire barrier, he could have done a McNish and gone through the guardrail. Then he really would have been in trouble
- Alex Wurz is still a Toyota team advisor and travels to all WEC races with them. - Jacques Villeneuve was not a test driver for Mercedes in 2010 and 2011 - I don't know where that information comes from but it's not true. - Marc Gené signed to race Nissan's ill-fated LMP1 in 2015, but stepped back to an advisory role prior to Le Mans. Mark Shulzhitskiy, an eSports graduate, replaced him. - Ralph Firman's engineering company (Pure Precision Engineering) was dissolved 3 months ago. - Jos Verstappen manages the career of GT3 driver Thierry Vermeulen, who's making his DTM debut this season. Thierry's father Raymond, in turn, manages a certain Max Verstappen. - Justin Wilson was survived by his brother Stefan, who remains active and will attempt to qualify for this year's Indy 500 this week. - Mika Salo also has a racing son: Max Salo, who did SMP F4 and Japanese F4 (with shocking results) and currently competes in Super Taikyu.
Kamui has been doing well in SF unfortunately he still can't win this series so far became he had some bad luck and his team is not enough to compete against top team but he has been evaluated so high in this series
37:40 - Disqualified for WEED? It's a depressant, it LOWERS reaction times. Somebody needs to explain how it "gave him an advantage". 40:45 - The greatest pay driver ever. He went from the bu++ of jokes at the start to being respected by everyone when he retired. A decent career, and a great post-F1 life.
When you consider how much 'Parental funding & assistance' has enabled family members & their talents to enter the sport regardless of ability (but, being heavily assisted by parental funding/& contacts!) . . . you've gotta wonder how many undiscovered talents are still 'Out-There', who are very fast, but simply don't have parents to help them into "the industry" Its all VERY insular and 'Auto-incestuous' [ ! ]
What do you mean about Sutil drowning his sorrys of the loss of something more than just a friendship with Lewis Hamilton? What on earth are trying to say here?
Kimi got involved in MX the toughest motorsport on the planet. Could he have woke up to the fact that F1 is a joke because of the ridiculous politics that have ruined F1.
