nice, thats exactly how i intend to fish when i come back. . i dont want 150lb nets, or 30lb monsters..... just a good few bites and sport on match gear.. .. .. nice size lake, some of the commercials look way too small and tightly pegged...
I was feeder fishing yesterday at a local quarry pit, using a Kamasan black cap 30g Caught lots of F1s like these and some nice roach too. It's a good method in winter and if F1s are present they will feed sooner or later. Your dog looked very interested in what you were doing, have you considered teaching him/her to fish?

All fish must be returned to the water from which they are caught. No braided line of any form to be used. Tackle must not be left unattended. Maximum of 2 rods per angler. No fires, dogs, bikes or loud radios allowed on the fishery. Fishing is from designated pegs only. No keep nets to be used except in matches. Cat/dog food can only be used on the hook not loose fed. No halibut, trout or high oil pellets allowed.
