Cars like this are reason why i love hillclimb more than any other motorsport-it's breeding ground for some truly insane machines that you can't even imagine possible until you see them start competing.Speaking of this particular one,that sound alone is enough to make all your hairs stand with biggest smile possible.Another thing i enjoy about projects like Nikos's Escort is that you can tell a lot of passion and love went into them along with countless hours of work,blood,sweat and tears.
Just imagine the pain while selecting the gear ratio for the drive train... To suit the mountain climb.. the flat and the speed. Hats off to the amazing car.
oh my fucking god, thats just pure porn. lower rpm usual inline 6 sounds but on the rpm end its literally a v12 and then the intake sound of it. absolute monster!

It was 42°C during the first pass at Ritsona. The fact that these cars and drivers produced the times they did and mostly run problem free, it was simply unbelievable!
They still suffered from it and the power figures refelected it. We hope we´ll have more opportunities during this year to show these Monsters in ideal conditions ;)

@@HillClimbMonsters My closest hill climb venue is St Oliver's mount, Scarborough, Britain it's 5 mins from my home we don't get many cars like this in the video, we have mostly Caterhams and my fav the lotus sunbeams with 2-litre turbo lum which is a rocket ship and a pleasure to drive
