This video is very important to a lot of issues F10 owners have if they code their cars. Don't forget guys that incandescent bulbs require an abundant amount of amperage and wattage to illuminate to their specifications. LED bulbs in comparison are nothing to an H8-H9 battery. This will improve the health of your vehicle in general, especially if you are using an OBDII tool frequently. Anthony, Good stuff!
Any idea why the dome light won't work even though the reading light does? Tried a new stock bulb and nothing. No lights for front or rear dome lights when door opens, but door lights and reading lights work. Thx for your help
Hey bro quick question since your financing your m5 is therr any mods you cant do that would void your warranty? Do you have the warranty on it? Just wanted to know? And what mods are allowed that won't void your warranty or extended warranty?
Great content, I am very interested in buying an f10 m5 also so very helpful and interesting to see all your content. I have a question though. Does ambient lighting comes as standard with these cars or it is an option ? Do you have ambient lighting in your car or not ?
Great vid quality haha. Recently got a 535i msport and have been watching your channel since. I had a question thought. My “reading lamps” (the small lights on the side of the big light) do not work at all. All 4 of them do not work. So I’m guessing it is most likely a fuse problem? Also the main lamps sometimes work and sometimes don’t. I would appreciate it if you made a video on replacing the door lights as I am soon going to be doing it aswell, but it would be awesome if you could include a part on which fuses to replace for those interior lamps. Thanks man!!
Awesome video . Keep up the great work. I have 2014 f10 M5 . Can you send me links to where I can get OSRAM or HELLA led's for the interior . I do agree the blur lights look better . Greetings and God Bless from South Africa.
Do you have any idea on how to change the two little ambiental lights between the reading lights? On mine they work in the back, but not in the front. Thanks in advance!
Those are LEDs soldered on the circuit board. You can change them by de-soldering if really needed, but it's unlikely that those LEDs are blown, it might be their connecting wires.
Love it and maintain it regularly. You can't go wrong. All bmw are reliable. Its the business man who buys the car. Who don't care for it. Where it goes wrong they the engine especially on m cars are built to extreme tolerance. When business man gets in thrashes from cold and never checks fluids until light on. Then an enthusiast picks up the car and has to repair the previous owners neglect.
i had installed same kind of led in my f10,all led died under 1 month then i bought osram led and i changed only the middle two bulbs,as osram is very expensive led bulbs.
