For anyone watching this a year later, you can do all of this with the handle on the truck. Just pop off the handle cover like he does at 4:28 and then pop the new one on. No need to take the handle off the truck
I just got done doing this mod to my truck as well. I'd like to add a few pointers. Follow LMFs directions on removing the handle. Once it's been removed, look inside the opening. You'll see two fingers towards the hinge side of the door. Loosen the 5MM bolt a little more. You'll see the fingers move back. Do so until they are flush. R+R your handle. Follow LMFs directions again, but this time, push a little harder than you think, but not where you'll break stuff. Brace the door with your knee, push on the handle, and turn the 5MM bolt in. If you push hard enough, it will snap into place the first time. I was being too gentle and I had to reset the door a few times. Once I understood how the assembly worked, everything went very quickly from there. LMFs directions were far superior than the others I've seen on YT. Thanks!
I normally go for an aggressive tire, but knowing you want to do some go fast mods to it I’d love to see it reverse leveled on some 12 wides and street tires.
gotta do the whole mirror for sure and definitely gotta do the badge and take the front valence off and get a bullet antenna and most importantly those steps have to go and get some bigger black tips tucked underneath that bumper
I think you should take off that chin spoiler. I took mine off my 2016 GMC Sierra and it looks so much better. You could always put it back on if you did not like it off
Dude the truck is looking great! Ain’t gonna lie, some full color matched tail lights would look amazing along with the color matched and black Ford badges
Just the mirror caps. Don’t paint the stuff that was never painted, like spoiler, or whole mirror. And pull the boards off and put on some nice mudflaps. !!!

That color is wild. I have a 2024 gmc elevation in dynamic blue metallic and it looks amazing. A lot my friends didn’t like the color but I absolutely love it.

Kinda off topic but I’ve been lookin on RU-vid I think chomper would sound crazy with a neighbor hater it will still be loud and still scream just way deeper and sound just as good maybe even better
@lmfscrew i know quite a bit of people that get the raptor r are going to do color matching especially in the grill and the R logo would probably end up being color matched or just left red

Huge improvement. Need to find some Dark Highland Green handles to swap the chrome ones on my 2001. I honestly like the running boards on your truck. If it were my truck, I'd keep the running boards or swap them with a style that I prefer.
Yup nothing is more annoying then when someone does a DIY and doesn’t show what the heck is going on. Good content man. I always love watching. I drive a Chevy but I watch the ford videos as well!
This is my favorite truck so far. And it ain't close! I would for sure do whole mirrors. And I think leaving the front fender badges black would look amazing and add a little contrast. No wrong answers here lol.
Great instructional video on the paint matched handles, they look WAAAAAAAAY better than those textured plastic ones. For the side views and badges, why not get the Raptor parts for those? Truck is looking soooooo much better now bud, might have to get one someday. Keep'em comin bud.
For the mirrors I vote to have the whole assembly painted I think it would look so clean. I think for the badges u could make a video on how to paint plastics because I went through 2 sets of mirrors trying to paint them myself and the clear coat cracked on impact both times. Love the vids man. Most under rated RU-vidr. Always makes my night when I can watch one of your vids
