IS BORLA ATAK REALLY WORTH $1500???? 

Sounds great. 1500 is a little pricey for exhaust, but if you’re getting the sound you like then go for it. It’s worth it at the end of the day.

ATAK IS GREAT! Got it on my 21 6.2 Silverado.

The Borla ATAK is an amazing system but ya just can't beat a good custom exhaust. Putting some of the Corsa "Pro Series" mufflers in a dual equal length setup on there would really wake that truck up, a set of headers would be nice too. Then you can put whatever tips you'd like on there and it'd sound meaner than any other V8 truck on the road.

Sweet, i can't wait for the new setup! I agree the Borla is pricey and still semi tame. Not sure if you are interested but 5star tuning just announced support for the 2021+ 5.0, and i saw Palm beach Dyno is about to start as well. Seems like more companies are cracking the ECU. I just want CD tuned out lol.

An Atak muffler, resonator delete and 4” tip install cost me under $300 welded on.

I just ordered mine for my 2013 f150 and I feel the same way about the way its routed, I'm a big fan of the axle back but I wish each pipe was bent at a 45 to get a more sound to the sides and they would just look way meaner

I’ve had a 5.0 in the 18 and 19 f150 I had. The sound is great. But no I have no regrets getting my Raptor. For two reasons more power outta the box and two the 4:10 rear end. Love what you’ve done with your truck though.

I’ve had Borla on my last two trucks and it definitely is a great system. But on my ‘22 Silverado, I put the only true dual exhaust system sold out there by AWE. So much better sounding than Borla. No other manufacturers make anything like what they’re putting out.

Cora sport or extreme are my favorite sounding ones for this year f150

I put my Borla atak exhaust on my 5.0 in 2019 and couldn’t be happier

I do love the how that the Borla attack sounds but I have a 2016 GMC sierra Denali with the 6.2 and had my exhaust shop essentially did a muffler delete and resonator delete and ran duels out the back for about $200. It’s not quite as loud but it does sound pretty good

Update: Ive had an ATAK on my F150 for 4 years now and thought it sounded pretty darned good. I just put BBK headers and mid pipe on my truck and NOW I can understand why Borla considers the ATAK their LOUDEST line of exhaust. Everything is WAAAAAAYY LOUDER!!!

Please do 2.25” catback true duals with 6” tips! It’s absolutely rowdy on my 2017 F150

I got an 18 Silverado with 5.3 I wanted the Atak but the price was not in my budget so I went with Flowmaster Super 10 catback with dual tips and boy does it sound good.

Sounds exactly like my $75 muffler/resonator delete. Only bad thing on mine is decrease in low end torque

I have had my borla atak for quite sometime 6 months or better and it has opened up here recently and is way louder at 5k and up rpm but I love it

I went with the mbrp Cat-Back dual exhaust in front of the back wheel on my rst wow what a look and the sound they look great on the Silverado rsts and the bolt on system was around 450

it does sound great. Your windshield sun screen is annoying at this cam angle. You really need to find a better "lower" place for the cam, so the viewers don't have to see your sunscreen.

This exhaust sounds the same as a y pipe to duals on throttle but idle is a little different

I think my biggest gripe with it (besides the price) is the way the duals stick straight out the back. Absolutely can’t stand it and it reminds me of an old man exhaust setup. To each their own, but not for me.

Cant really go wrong with the Borla atak on a V8 f150. That exhaust don't play aroud had a king ranch F150 that came with it in high school.

If it's 90% there, It sounds like you need some shorty headers and performance downpipes... or a set of longtubes.

Does your exhaust have a gurgling sound when you are cruising on the highway? My 2022 STX 4x4 has a MBRP 3'' exhaust and it sounds terrible as the transmission shifts 7th and higher. sounds great in sport mode.

I have the Borla Atak crate muffler with a 5” tip on my 2015 5.0 and it’s essentially the same badass volume and sound for a fraction of the price 👌🏼 Nice smooth rumble when feathering the gas and then I’ve actually had a Karen bitch at me for making her pee herself when trying to make a yellow light from a distance. Definitely annoyed that she caught me at the next red but so worth it😂🤙🏼. You get what you pay for in this life 😎

I can already tell you that I would regret buying that exhaust. It’s too loud and I would have to get my head examined if I ever spent $1,500 on an exhaust.

It's not reasonable to compare the 100% 304 stainless steel Borla to a mild steel custom exhaust, and say the cost is a con. You get what you pay for, sound is not the only factor.
