Does your manly mans truck make a hideous tin canny rattle sound while you’re hauling max payload from the grocery store to your home? Save the embarrassment and fix this simple issue.
I've been dealing with this small rattle at low rpm's for about six months now... all winter long. Mine would do it when pulling away from a stop; and also when you are describing. Dropping my daughter off at school in the morning was the best. Sitting in that line, moving a foot at a time... and rattling the entire time. I never would have guessed it would be a $5 fix (new O-clamp) and about five minutes of my time. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
Thank you so much sir! Not only have you saved me probably hundreds if not thousand inside some dealership, but you made it so easy. Please please please if you have anymore problems with your truck, don’t hesitate to make a video. Some of us are truly thankful and grateful for your time.
Thank you mine was the manifold heat shield on the passenger side, your description of the problem was very helpful! I must have spent an hour trying to find the source, after watching your video it only took me about 2 minutes to find it!
I had a rattle at 1100 RPM's which coincidentally is the same number of RPM's when converted to metric per the Engineering Formula Conversion Tables :) Thanks. Mine was the same clamp. Rattle is gone.
Man I have a 2019 5.0, of my many rattles, the most annoying one sounds exactly like yours. Ford says nothing is wrong, I’ve even checked all the shields myself. Hoping it was a simple fix but nothing is lose or broke. Any thoughts on what it might be ?
Mines doing that similarly but it’s not constant and will stop and start randomly. I can hear it a lot in a drive thru. I checked my clamps and none are bad or rusted so idk what to think now
Sound similar to this? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-E8UvyRuagVI.htmlsi=mJpNL1qtzOvdzUnF This is what mine sounds like and I can’t figure it out
