I agree about the cam. That is why I always have a cam custom ground for my setup pacific. 2k out of a 1400 hp rated f1x is pretty damn good. We have a little f1x-12 on a old 454 sbc and it made 2200 rwhp 2450 crank. I thought that was damn good sense it's only rated for 2100.
@@cali2468 It does have the internal mods and the SM pro volute on the outside of it. I was just talking in general, my 454 f1x-12 sbc was on the supercharger store gear drive but no internal mods and no prep volute and it made a few hundred more than out of the box rating, so I'm sure that out of the box with a custom SM cam that'll make 1600 chp. It is like my PAR 540 it has more rwhp than out of box rating and it ain't had no mods done to it.
