Nice, thanks for sharing, I'll give it a try right after I'll find a unit in my region. But what intrigues me is the background noise from 3:54 and 3:55. Sound like you were not alone in the car :D

Speaking of PRE-LCI to LCI... I want to ADD a LCI ambient light to the AC/Radio cover trim, but.... I don't have the LCI connector. Can you assist give me some directions? 2016 BMW 428i F33

It only works in cars manufactured after 2014. They have the IHKA3 module by default. Before 2014 they have IHKA...

You should able to do that if you max out the dimmer

Hi what is the orange sheet p/n if my cluster led all other buttons have been changed to white LEDs surely I can just get a white plastic sheet instead of orange, If so what is the part number of that sheet?

Yes. I fitted an LCI one to my 2014 F36. Then just a quick code with Bimmercode and let it calibrate itself and it works perfectly.

@@htc2187 what year was the car you did it on? Mine is a march 2014 F30 it powered up but unfortunately didn't work properly. I don't suppose you have a part number of the climate unit you used? I may have the wrong one.

@@dansaville5 are you using your old board or new board? Try use your old board and only swap the display pieces over.

@@dansaville5 I have a pre LCI vehicle using a LCI HVAC. Are you sure the donor unit was in working condition?
