First off, apologies for the audio quality, super windy the day I filmed this... to the degree that it blew my tripod over! I am due for a tripod upgrade anyway.
But, in this video, I talk about some of the progress that's been made on my F30 and my future plans as well. Not to say it is exact and conclusive, but the direction I want to go. Still contemplating what brand I will go with for performance mods. Looking at VRSF, Evolution Racewerks, Burger Tuning, ARM... combination? Hope you enjoy!

Dope video!! I currently have a 2010 E90 and I've been thinking about getting an F30 and your build will definitely inspire mine when I pull the trigger on a F30

Me too. Walking over to it, I thought the camera or at least the lens was done! Sigh of relief when I picked it up and tested full camera function... all good. 😅

Thanks man! Camera is a Lumix G85. In this vid I used mainly the Lumix G 12-35mm f/2.8 II. In some closer sections I used the Lumix 25mm f/1.7.

Thanks man. I got mine from cmwheels.com eBay listing, but I don’t think they carry them anymore which is why I don’t have the link in my description. The link I used to have went to a broken link as well as my past purchases says the listing is no longer available. Of the last 3 sets of aftermarket wheels I’ve purchased, I always call the seller/manufacturer and inquire about the build quality, casting method etc, and then research anything I’m not already familiar with. Like I told another viewer, at the very least... low pressure cast and up. Gravity cast is going to be the cheapest / least reliable alternative. 👍🏽

Hey man, thanks for the kind words. I don't of anyone personally with one available. I'm sure you can find parts for sale by owner in car forums. If you are talking about new parts companies, just about any company that sells BMW parts. You are not hardly going to find one already painted that won't need to be repaired or painted again however. I personally got mine from eBay and fitment, quality, construction, etc. is fine. The seller no longer offers the package I originally purchased. But... CMWheels.com they’ve been perfect and they’ve taken a beating with horrible potholes from Colorado winters and bad roads. 4+ years with no issues.👍🏽

I have a silver F30 330i, I’ve been looking for those wheels a long time. Are those wheel gunmetal finished?? I’m not sure if a gunmetal finish will match a silver car!

Hey man. The insides of the spokes are painted gunmetal w/clear coat and the faces of the spokes are brushed aluminum w/clear coat. These look good on any color imho. Love them! 👍🏽

Why did you go from HR sport springs to Eibach?

The H&Rs rode much too firm and bouncy for my tastes. To the point where I was apprehensive about every little bump and crack at residential and highway speeds. Not enjoyable, especially for Colorado winter-beaten roads. The Eibachs were an immediate and drastic change in the ride quality. Not as low, but much better suited for my tastes and needs. H&Rs better suited for someone who prefers a firmer ride or better road surfaces. 👍

@@visiongarage277 Damn, I am getting ready to install my H&Rs this week. I have had Eibachs before on my S2000 and liked them, but based on pictures the H&Rs looked like a better drop on the F30 so I thought i'd give them a try. It's too late to return. California has terrible road quality so this will be interesting.

@@MonkayMan Cool, you may as well just try them out man. The H&Rs definitely give you a nicer drop and a lot of the the way springs feel is preferential. You may really like them. Best of luck to you bro. 👍

Build looks beautiful. Is it xdrive? , stock struts? On 19”?

Thanks bro. Yes, this is xDrive with stock struts, though it is time for some new ones. I’ll be getting either Bilsteins or Sachs as replacements. XDrive was a must for Colorado winters. The G35 was a bit terrifying in the snow at times. And no more getting stuck in my own driveway. 😁 Staggered stance with 19x8.5 front w/ 12.5mm Renn Motorsport spacers and 19x9.5 rear w/ 5mm spacers. 225/40 and 255/35 tires respectively. On the Eibach springs the ride is near stock comfort. The old H&R Sports I had on there were too harsh and way too bouncy for my tastes, especially considering our roads/climate.

How have the replicas held up? I’ve heard mixed reviews about replicas in general. I want to add them to my F30 but don’t know if I should buy replicas. Love the videos by the way!

Hey what's up man. These wheels have been great! I've not had any problems with these or any of my past aftermarket wheels. No vibrations and they balance well. A while back, I hit a pothole that was bad enough to cut the sidewall of a tire that I had to replace but the wheel didn't get a scratch. I've been rolling aftermarket wheels for 15 years without any issues whatsoever. I had one wheel bent beyond repair sliding in the snow into a curb, but, the upper and lower control arms were bent and rack and pinion, and rotor had to be replaced as well. I could still drive it out of the street. With that said, do your research as all replicas, aftermarket, even higher end wheels are not created equal. You have gravity cast, low pressure cast, flow formed, forged and so on... I would say to anyone inquiring any sort of purchase, do your research. Though I would avoid gravity cast at the very least. Most aftermarket wheels are low pressure cast these days. OZ and may other known brands use low pressure cast on some of their more affordable wheels. www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=90 You can also look at Fitment industries RU-vid discussion on this as well as a plethora of other discussion around the web. It is literally endless. You will always hear mixed reviews, but eventually you have to decide what's best for you, your driving style, performance expectations, budget, tracking? daily?, etc. Hope this wasn't too long winded, but, best of luck bro, and congrats on the new F30 purchase!
